It may have been your fault, but you just couldn't sleep. It wasn't the regular feeling of emptiness, no, this was different. yet you didn't know what was so different...
sitting up you took out your laptop. giggling at the feeling of soft fur straddling your legs.
the unnatural blueish light hitting your face immediately.
you felt like writing right now.
starting to write what's on your mind.
right after that uploading it to your Tumblr page:

3:00 am
rain splashing against my window, lightning to be heard and moonlight to leave me awake.

not a noise to be noticed, until...

a light voice...
those words, so unclear.
no, actually. not words, cries, cries of the hurting. cries of the mad.
quiet, slight and in some way... gentle cries.

cries you wouldn't hear, but feel.
your own voice, yet unfamiliar and somewhat strange...
just so.. different

whining nonstop.

until... nothing.
silence.
but still, you can hear the pain, how she's hurting, how she's struggling.
its' very own story, so sad, so depressing, so ...upsetting.

As much as he wanted to get his beauty sleep he couldn't. Something kept him awake.
taking his phone out, looking at her profile. It was weird. Why did he feel this connection?
"ohh, a new post"
reading it he started feeling even more worried. why did he care about her so much?
he wasn't able to keep his inner monologue for long due to those noises in the background.
he was okay with his best friends being in a relationship, but did they have to be so loud. what are they even doing that makes Jungkook moan so strong?
actually, he didn't even want to know.
trying to fall back asleep he closes his eyes...

~~

You can't. You just can't stand it anymore. You need to talk to someone. Your brother is too tired, he's still driving.
You think for a second then try your luck on this Jimin guy. Maybe he can help...

~~

"hey..."
a vibration opened his eyes. though he wasn't sleeping he was annoyed.
but then he looked at the message...
"hey, what is it?"
"sorry Jimin, did I wake you up?"
"no, don't be sorry, u didn't. so, feeling lonely?"
"I..uhm.. i just don't really know what to do."
"it's okay....
just....  for how long have you kept this up?"
"What?!"
"Depression"
"Well..., a few months now..."
"why?"
"it's complicated"
"well, just know you can always talk to me"
"Jimin?"
"yes, y/n?"
"Why do you care?"
"I don't know, I just do?"
"oh okay👀"
"😊"
"Christ... hey, can I.. ask you something?"
"sure, go ahead!"
".... are my poems good?"
"yeah"
"really? I mean I don't really know anything about that stuff"
"What stuff?"
"Poetry"
"Well, I'm a teacher, I should know😊"
"a teacher? how old are you?"
"22"
"k...
Jimin?"
"yes, beautiful"
"Thank you."
"my pleasure"

the following day was quite boring. except for the lessons. your teacher is amazing. He is so funny and he can explain everything so ... smooth...

unfortunately your phone rang all of a sudden.
"Y/n, what did I tell you yesterday, huh?! You have to turn your phone off too.! come here, hand it over. You can get it back at the end of the day" the others were laughing at you, but honestly, what was so funny about that?
"I'm sorry Mr Park!" You give him your phone slightly straddling his palm with your fingertips.
Your stomach... it felt strange...
So... queasy..., but in a good way... still you felt stupid and.... so angry... about what, you didn't know.

~

You stayed after the last lesson and waited for Mr Park to look up at you.
"You know, Y/n, if you want your phone back just speak up" he said softly. How was he so gentle with such stern words?
"I'm-"
"sorry? yeah, I know."
You sunk your head lower and walked over to him. Reaching out to grab you phone he suddenly held your wrist.
"I really like you. You seem like a good student. Please don't let Steve Jobs ruin that for you."
you had to chuckle at that. you took your phone back and walked home.

At home you unlocked the door and walked in not thinking about anything.
Suddenly someone tackled you onto the sofa with a side hug.
"YOONGI!!"
