megan —>

"what do you mean i've met him before?" i asked. calum. i've never heard that name before.

"you and calum have known each other since kids megan."

"then how come i don't remember?" i asked as i stood up. i looked over at maggie and jack were still sleeping.

"look, i can't help you. you've got to try to remember. here's a tip though, memories are always stored in attics and whatever you do, don't tell ashton." and with that he simply disappeared.

i bit my lip and simply said fuck it. i looked at the kids one last time before i made my way to the stairs. the only thing runnin through my mind was calum at the moment.

i've never met him. he's been dead for years. i heard a small chuckle and i gasped as ashton soon appeared in front of me with his head cocked to the side.

"where ya goin love?" he asked with a wicked grin.

"b-bathroom." i stuttered and he began walking closer to me before i heard a whisper.

"ashton.." the voice was deep and threatening. ashton gave me one last glare before disappearing as well.

i quickly ran all the way to the second floor and pulled down the stairs that led to the attic.

i pulled on a string and soon a lightbulb turned on and it lit the attic pretty nicely. i looked around and saw so many boxes but one caught my eye.

"calum's memories." his parents must have put this up here after he died. i pulled the box closer to me and i sat down. i opened up the box and the very first thing i found was his birth certificate.

calum thomas hood.

i smiled as i put it to the side. the next thing was a framed picture of calum and the rest of the boys. they looked so happy, so full of life. even ashton seemed like an angel.

the next thing was a picture of the family. calum looked so happy. next to that there was a picture that made my heart freeze.

i was in that picture. i was about six years old. calum and i were standing next to each other with a big smile and backpacks on our backs.

"that was the first day of first grade." i jumped a bit and turned to see calum sitting down on a box.

i turned back to the picture. i ran my finger through our faces and a small smile plastered on my face.

"you were my bestfriend." he chuckled and then i felt my heart drop.

"what's that?" i pulled all the pictures out and gasped. at the bottom of the box there was markings and then there was a bandana drenched in blood.

"i-i have never seen that." he stuttered and walked towards you.

"what does that mean?" he asked. he picked up the bandana. "ashton." he mumbled.

"calum. that's the markings of a human sacrifice."
