"We're finally here." I heard my dad say.
"Oh, the house is just lovely. (y/n), don't you think so as well?" Mother said.
I turned my head, to face our new home. Well, I knew it wouldn't be a home; it'd be a mansion, since our family's so stinkin' rich.
Yep, I was right; it was a mansion.
I took a deep sigh.
"Yeah, it's fine." I said.
"(y/n), why are you so down? We're in Paris, the city of love!" Mother said.
"Yeah, and we're staying near your old friend's house as well. Oh, what was his name again? Adrien?" Dad asked.
I didn't say anything. But, I couldn't blame him for not knowing. After all, I never told them about that day...
Both my parents sighed.
"Well, I hate to do this to you, but we can't stay for long. I have an important business meeting, and your mom has a photo shoot." Dad explained.
"It's fine." I said.
"Your things are in your room. It'd be best if you unpack today, since tomorrow you'll be going to school." Mother said.
"Very well." I sarcastically said, before getting out of the limo.
The driver then drove my parents away.
"You're Miss (y/l/n), right?" I heard someone ask.
I turned, to face what looked like a butler.
"I am." I said.
"I was instructed to escort you to your room." He said.
"Alright." I said.
"This way, Miss." He said.
The butler (who I learned was Mr. Thomas), led me straight to my room.
"Let me know if you need anything." Mr. Thomas said, before leaving.
My room truly was incredible; with a king-sized bed, two couched in front of a giant TV, a desk with a rolling chair, a giant walk-in closet, a bathroom which had a giant shower and bathtub, two sinks, and a mini pool. Seriously, a pool? Is that really necessary?
Anyway, I decided to get unpacked, since it wouldn't take too long. I'm not the one for owning many possessions.
Once I finished unpacking, I realized something very scary; I'd be going to public school!
Ugh! Why didn't I complain with my dad, and demand to be homeschooled!?
"I'm such an idiot!" I screamed.
I then heard a tiny yawn, before my kwami, Elise, came out.
"Try to not be so loud." Elise said.
"Sorry." I said.
Elise was a white dragon, with ice for claws. She loves anything cold, music, and being with me. She's nice... In her own way.
"Anyway, why're you an idiot?" Elise asked.
"I let my parents set me up for public school without fighting back. I don't want to go to public school!" I explained.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine." Elise tried to reassure me.
"No, it won't!" I argued.
"Why so?" Elise said, while folding her tiny arms.
"I'd have to face people... In public! And I'll have to do group projects... And... And... What if I run into Adrien!?" I asked.
"Don't worry. If Adrien does indeed go to the same school, then you should do what you do to everyone else; give them the cold shoulder." Elise suggested.
"Thanks, Elise." I said, with a smile.
"Anytime. Now, get some rest, you'll need it." Elise demanded.
"Okay, okay." I said, while putting on my pajamas.
After putting on my pajamas, I laid down in my bed, to do what Elise instructed. Though, I'm still terrified.
...Will I be able to survive seeing Adrien again...?
Hello, and welcome to my newest story! I'm so excited to share with you what I've written (since it's already been finished; I just need to upload it here to Wattpad from my notebooks). Anyway, after seeing lots and LOTS of Chat Noir/Adrien X Reader stories, I just KNEW I had to write one myself. And now that I've finished it, I feel like it's finally time to post it. So... If you have any helpful criticism, please let me know for the future. Oh, just so you're aware... The entire story will be in the reader's point of view. I believe I've said everything I've wanted to say... So... Until next time, my fellow readers! =^-^=
