Thawing a Frozen Heart (Adrien/Chat Noir x Reader)

Chapter Four

Finally! School's over! As soon as the bell rang, I was out the door. I raced out the door, to search for my limo.

Luckily for me, the limo was parked in the front, waiting for me. I quickly ran up to it, where my driver was opening the door for me.

Just as I was about to get in the limo, I heard someone calling my name. I turned, to see Adrien running up to me.

I frowned.

"What do you want?" I rudely asked.

"Well, I was thinking that we should probably arrange to go to one of the other's person place, to work on the project, since we only have three weeks." Adrien explained.

"Sorry, got homework." I said, before entering the limo.

But, Adrien grabbed my shoulder, stopping me.

"Can I at least have your phone number, so we can arrange a time to get together?" Adrien asked.

I sighed, before giving Adrien my number... Frowning the entire time.

"Now can I go?" I impatiently asked.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I'll text you later today." Adrien said.

"Okay." I coldly said, before completely getting into the limo.

Adrien then walked away.

Just as my driver was about to drive off, something pounded on my window. I turned, to face Chloe.

I rolled down the window.

"What?!" I coldly and rudely asked.

"You need to stay away from Adrien-"

"You can go now." I said.

My driver then drove away. I looked back, to see a shocked and angry Barbie. Although, I thought Barbie's could only smile. Guess I was wrong.

After getting home, I headed to my room to start on the devil's assignments, also known as homework.

Yay... Homework... So fun... NOT!
That's when I got a text on my phone. How odd. I thought I blocked every number that tried to contact me; except for my parents, of course.

I looked at the text, to see that it was from Adrien, asking if I could come over.

I was about to say 'no way', when Elise came out.

"(y/n), you should go." Elise said.

"Why should I choose to go to Adrien's house?!" I asked.

"Because, the faster you finish this project, the sooner you can avoid Adrien." Elise said, smartass-like.

... Guess she's right...

So, I texted a quick 'sure', before exiting my mansion. I was quickly in front of Adrien's mansion.

When I knocked, I was greeted with who I guesses was an assistant.

"Who are you? What's your appointment?" The assistant asked.

"I'm (y/n). I'm here to see Adrien." I explained.

"Ah, you're the one Adrien told me about. Very well, follow me." The assistant said, before walking inside.

I quickly followed her, taking in all the beauty of the mansion.

We soon arrived in front of a door. The assistant then knocked on the door.

"Mr. Adrien, your guest is here." The assistant said.

I heard a 'coming', and footsteps approaching the door. Seconds later, the door opened, revealing Adrien.

"Hello, (y/n). Please, come in." Adrien said, while moving to the side, allowing me to come inside... Which I reluctantly did.

The assistant did not come in with me, leaving me completely alone with Adrien. Just great...

"Please, make yourself at home.," Adrien said, in a very welcoming manner.

So, I sat down on a couch. Adrien sat down next to me, after grabbing a folder.

"So, have you come up with any ideas...? Other than the idea to kill me?" Adrien asked.

"No; because I like my idea." I coldly answered.

That's when Adrien completely lost it.

"What's wrong with you!? I have never met anyone so cold-hearted! I can normally play it cool and around people who are rude, but who have a reason. But, you have no right to be so rude to me! I haven't done anything to you!" Adrien shouted, while standing up.

I looked away.

"Do you really not remember?" I asked, trying to hold back tears.

Adrien looked so confused. That hurt; a lot.

"Look, if you really don't remember, then let me tell you-"

The TV's sound that was playing in the background was replaced with screams. Both of our heads turned, to face the TV. The TV showed about the newest akuma attack. I know about akumatized people, and how to defeat them. I even had a partner back in my hometown. But I was quickly replaced once I moved here. Research said so.

"Uh... I need to go." Adrien said.

"Why-"

Before I could say anything else, Adrien ran out the door.

Well, I guess I can transform now that Adrien's gone.

"Elise, you ready?" I asked.

Elise then came out.

"Sure." Elise said.

"Alright. Elise, chill out!"

Elise then went into the pendant on my necklace. My clothes changed into a full-body blue suit with white gloves and boots, a white mask, and my hair changed from (hair color) into light blue with white streaks in a braid.

"Now, let's go save Paris... I guess..." I said, before opening the window, and jumping out.
