Sneezes

Being scared in the morning is not Hoseok's cup of tea

Hoseok loved waking up to Yoongi next to him.

They were more often than not curled against each other. Hoseok was almost always the first one awake and, frankly, he considered that a blessing.

Hoseok always loved seeing Yoongi's slightly open mouth, his ruffled hair against the pillows, the light snoring. He loves it all. It's quite cute actually, he likes to say.

And today was no different.

He smiled as he lightly traced the curve of Yoongi's face. When he reached his lips, something switched in Hoseok. Oh.

Yoongi is always irresistible, but the mornings bring something new. Hoseok slowly leaned forward and left a small kiss on his lips. When he pulled away, Yoongi's eyes were open.

"Oh, did I wake you?"

"You did, but it was the best way to wake up though."

Hoseok laughed.

"I'm glad I was your alarm clock."

Yoongi scooted closer 'till they were nose to nose.

"What do you wanna do today?"

"Mmm I don't know," Yoongi slurred. He was still drowsy. "Can't we just...stay here?"

"Yah..."

"What? We have nothing planned. Right?"

Hoseok began playing with strands of Yoongi's hair. "Not that I know of. But maybe the guys wanna do something later?"

"Well they can kiss my ass..." Yoongi muttered.

Laughing again, Hoseok wrapped his arm around his waist. They stayed like that in sweet silence. Yoongi's eyes fluttered as he fell back asleep.

"Yah, wake up."

"It's too early Hoseok."

"It's nine in the morning Yoongi."

"So?"

Hoseok scoffed. But Yoongi stayed awake. They returned to that silence again. Their foreheads were pressed against each other as they took each other in.

Out of nowhere, Yoongi sneezed loudly. Hoseok, caught off guard, screamed and promptly fell off the bed.

"Yah! What the hell Yoongi!"

Yoongi couldn't respond. He was laughing 'till his stomach hurt. Hoseok stood up, hands on his hips.

"That's not funny!"

Yoongi was still laughing.

"Yah!"

Hoseok grabbed his pillow and started hitting him.

"I can't believe that scared you Hoseokie."

"Shut up."

Yoongi sat up, leaning on his forearms. He still laughed, looking at Hoseok who was pouting.

"Make me."

Hoseok threw the pillow on the bed and straddled him. He grabbed Yoongi's wrists and held them above his head. Yoongi still had his smile on his face. But it turned into a lazy smile.

"Yah..."

"What? You said 'make me' so I am."

"I won't tell anyone, if that's what you want."

Hoseok planted a kiss on his lips. "You sure?"

"If it keeps your dignity intact, then yes."

"Yah!" Hoseok let go of his wrists as he sat up.

"I'm joking, I'm joking," Yoongi laughed.

He sat up too and kissed him chastely. "Are you done with your antics?"

Hoseok held up his pinky.

"Maybe not," Yoongi murmured.

"Promise me?"

Yoongi looked between Hoseok and his extended pinky.

"Fine." He curled his pinky with Hoseok's.

Hoseok kissed him again and smiled when Yoongi swatted him away.

"Let's get dressed then."

"Mmm whatever."

"Listen, between you and me...I promised Hoseok not to tell, but it's hilarious."

Yoongi looked to see if Hoseok was paying attention. He wasn't. He was talking to Jimin and Jungkook.

"What did you promise?" Namjoon asked.

"That I scared him shitless this morning."

"How?" Seokjin asked this time.

"I sneezed and that apparently made him jump and he fell off the bed."

Namjoon and Seokjin laughed.

"You're shitting me right?" Namjoon said in the midst of his laugh.

"No, I swear to you," Yoongi said. "Ask him. Wait, actually, don't ask him."

"Ask me what?"

Yoongi whirled around and saw Hoseok next to him, arm wrapped around his waist.

"That he scared you shitless--"

"--Yah, Jin!"

Seokjin only grinned as he leaned against Namjoon. Patiently, they watched the snowball roll downhill.

"Yoongi, you promised!"

"It slipped!"

"No, we're over Min Yoongi."

"Hoseokie come on. It just slipped."

"No we're done."

"I swear to-- Hoseok come on."

"You betrayed our promise."

"Oh, my god."

Hoseok crossed his arms and turned away from him. Yoongi, with his continuous pleas, kept trying to get his attention.

"It's like they're the maknaes in this group," Seokjin said.

Namjoon laughed.

Everyday brought something new with those two.
