Yoongi's has had bad luck with dates, but this one might end on a different note.

~~

6:31 p.m

Yoongi looked at his phone one more time. The seat in front of him was empty. There was no message from Jimin at all. The waitress came by again.

"Are you ready to order now, sir?"

"No, not yet," he responded politely.

She smiled as she walked to another table. He checked his phone once more. Nothing. They said 6:00 and Yoongi showed up ten till.

"The one time I plan the fucking date," he murmured.

He took a sip of water. A few heads turned with sympathetic looks. It didn't help that the table he got was away from the walls.

6:57 p.m

Still no sign of his date. Not a text or a call. Not a single word. People came and went. The waitress stopped by thrice now, to refill his glass and to ask the same question.

People began to notice him and the empty seat. He wanted to just get up and go, but what if Jimin bursted through the doors all apologetic.

He sent a message to Jimin.

Hey, you comin'? - 6:59 p.m

No response. He didn't even see it.

His leg bounced in eager patience. He looked around, but he wasn't there. Yoongi couldn't wait to hear his excuse.

If he ever showed up.

7:26 p.m

He was late. No, better yet--he's not coming. Oh, god...Yoongi was getting stood up for sure. There was no response from Jimin. He checked his messages.

It was still unseen.

The waitress came back for the sixth, no seventh time?

"Any word from her, sir?"

He shook his head. "I'm sure he's coming."

She only bowed and left. It was a little awkward to say that his date was a man. When some people hear that, some are understanding but some are down right rude. But screw those people, he had something beautiful and it was his to enjoy.

But that something beautiful was standing him up right now.

8:01 p.m

Okay, this was over.

Yoongi didn't get a word from him at all. Now people looked and some whispered. Downing the last of, what he now ordered, wine, Yoongi lightly threw the napkin on his empty plate.

As he scooted the chair back, a random guy rushed over to his table as if he was supposed to be there.

"Hey baby, I'm so sorry I'm late. Traffic was hell." He said a little loud for the staring eyes to hear and slid in the chair.

Who is this guy?

He had a soft shade of red hair and a heart shaped smile. He was dressed for the part too. The slim, black suit and the neat white button up gave the guy a charm.

The guy leaned in. "Hey, sorry about bargin' in here, but play along for now I guess. Whoever stood you up is a real ass," he whispered.

Was he serious?

The waitress walked over. "Are you gentlemen ready to order?"

"I am," the guy said, having a dazzling smile on his face. He turned to Yoongi. "Are you ready babe?"
