All Storms Pass

As I sit on my bed

Watching as the rain falls

The thoughts running about my head

Are as scary as the empty halls

Thunder rolls

And I keep thinking

If boats were our souls

We'd all be sinking

The rain is pouring

Drowing out any other sounds

But still my thoughts are roaring

Against my head they pound

Lightning brightensup the sky

It's only for a second

But I realize if we try

We're a force to be reckond with

We all have a lot on our minds

But if we learned anything in science class

We will all find

That all storms pass with time
