Alexis's POV
Priscilla was blabbing on about this new "hot" guy. I could really care less, but Priscilla was curious to see who this gorgeous stranger could be.
"Have you seen the new guy yet?" Priscilla asked as she checked her reflection in her locker mirror. Priscilla was one of the hottest girls at school, most guys stopped and stared when she passed by. I couldn't judge them, because Priscilla was beautiful: fiery red hair, emerald eyes, and creamy skin; She looked like a mystical goddess.
"Nope. Have you?"
"I haven't seen him yet, but I've heard he is drop dead gorgeous." she squealed "And rumors have it, he is this famous British singer."
"Well when you see this 'hot' new guy, tell me." I said as I slammed my locker door "I need to get to the music room to work on this new piece I'm rehearsing on."
"Bye!" Priscilla waved goodbye.
I made my way to the music room: Room 226. I've loved music all my life; my family says I have an amazing voice, but I guess they just say that because they are my family: I can carry a tune, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I'm that good. I pull out my music folder and pull out Imaginary by Evanescence: I love how her voice is so powerful, and her lyrics have so much meaning:
I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clock screaming monsters calling my name
Let me stay where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
(Paper flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me
(Paper flowers)
Don't say I'm out of touch
With this rampant chaos, your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
(Paper flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me
(Paper flowers)
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The Goddess of imaginary light
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
(Paper flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me
(Paper flowers)
Paper flowers
Paper flowers
James's POV
Crap! Where the hell is room 223? I've been roaming the same hallway, and I still can't find the freaking class room. How hard is it to find a classroom in this school?
Don't say I'm out of touch
With this rampant chaos, your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape
Where is that voice coming from? It must be near. I look around and find from where the music is coming from. Room 226. So I can find room 226 but I can't find room 223. I looked into the small window and saw this brunette girl sitting alone in the middle of the room. I couldn't see her face since she was sitting down playing the piano. She had an amazing and powerful voice. I open the door quietly and walk in. She didn't hear me, she was too lost in the music.
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The Goddess of imaginary light

I heard somebody clapped. I turned around and saw the a guy standing there. He was handsome: striking blue eyes, brown hair.
"When did you get in here?" I asked startled. He had heard me sing; Nobody has ever heard me sing apart from Priscilla and my family.
"I've been standing in here for quite a while. I'm surprised you didn't notice me." he said. I could hear he had a British accent.
"Well I was sorta distracted..." I said "Who are you?"
"James Night. I just transfered in from England."
"Oh so your that new guy all the girls are going crazy over."
"All the girls, eh?" he smirked.
"Don't flatter yourself. Your not my type."
"You don't go for the famous singers? Most girls swoon at the sight of me."
"Well not me, I find it quite pathetic actually." I replied "So why are you here?"
"Um.. I've been looking for room 223, and I can't find it." he said.
"Well, 223 is inside the door that says 224. 224 is actually a hallway that connects 225 and 223. I'll show you the way." I said as I started walking out the door. He followed me. I opened
the door, and walked in.
"Well here it is. 224." I said as I pointed towards a blue door.
"Thanks" he said
"No problem." I said as I walked back to the music room.
"See you around?" he winked.
"Don't get your hopes up!"
