"C'mon El! Teach us some Filipino words!" Agad na bungad sa akin ni Travis habang kami'y nasa rooftop.

Sa mga lumipas na panahon ay naiayos na namin ang mga dokumento na amin ni Eldrion kaya ang aalalahanin ko na lamang ngayon ay yung pagkuha ko ng trabaho... eh si El meron na kaagad, kaya madalas ako ang mag-isa sa malaking condo namin.

"Well... what do you want to learn?" tanong ko.

"Let's start with greetings. Like- good morning." suhestiyon niya.

"Magandang umaga. Magandang tanghali, magandang hapon, and magandang gabi." tugon ko naman.

"Ma--magandang-- um-aga, magandang tanghalee, magandang hapon, magandang ga-bee." Pagsubok niyang bigkas.

Hindi ko naman siya masisisi since hindi naman siya pure Filipino despite the fact na hating pinoy rin siya.

"Not bad, well- for first time of course." Tugon ko.

"... Hey, you in a bad mood? Sulking a bit over there." komento niya.

Isang buntong-hininga naman ang nagmula sa akin at sinabi, "... Just--- worried that's all."

"What about?"

"Job problems..."

"Oh. Right, your fiance's working, huh?"

"Not really entirely about him but, I do want to help him with the expenses."

"Well, being a housewife isn't so bad, right?"

"What do you mean?"

"Housewives have the most difficult job you know... despite having no pay, they work hard 24 hours a day."

"... Thing is, I can already do that in just an hour. Clean everything will be done in that time, cooking's no problem for me either."

Ilang segundo ang katahimikan mula sa aming dalawa hanggang sa, "Ah! I know a guy! He's working for a mag-blog. Maybe we can get you a spot there." tugon niya.

"... M-mag blog?"

"Well, it's like a media company rather. News, entertainment articles, even video blogs, w-well... not really considered a vlog though. Like um-- an article video sort of thing." paliwanag niya.

"So you mean to say... I can get a job there?"

"Well, not to be rude or anything... that is if you can pass the interview and all that. C'mon, we should head there tomorrow to take a peak. I'll message the guy and we can meet him tomorrow. Sound good?" tanong niya.
