His Loss

"I promise you. Someday I will make you proud. I will become a warrior, one of

the strongest warriors of Asgard". I told her softly.

We have been friend since childhood. We used to play together in the village, we had great adventures. She is my very best friend and someday she will Hopefully become the queen of life. She is my everything, my soulmate. No one compare to her beauty, for me she is the most stunning girl in all of the mine realms.

"I love you Fandral, Always."

"I love you more, Alina.... My precious Alina."

One day after the training session is finished, I go down to the village to visit her. To my horror I see that the village has been burned to the ground. With my heart beating wildly in my chest I storm through the ruins to where her house used to be. All I see is ashes, rubbles and debris littering the ground.

Worry fills my heart. I can't find her. I can't even find her body to say my goodbye. As tears starts to roll down my face, I feel my World being shattered to pieces. Why did she have to die ? I scream out my pain and sorrow as I try to stay on my feet, but I stumble to the ground. I am devastated, lost and broken.

She had stolen my heart, the heart of Fandral the dashing. The one women I ever loved is now lost.

I can still remember the day I realised I were in love with her. The eyes our eyes met and sent a chill down my spine, pulling a smile forth on my lips. I still easily recall the first time we kissed, moving against one another and then stopping, gasping for air. I Will never forget the first time she uttered those words 'I love you'.

Now my love's name is a curse. Something to be muttered under a breath. It was the name that breathed life into my very soul, and now so cruelly crushed it. It has become a name that I sometimes whispers in the dead of night. A memory that most would simply wish to forget. However I cannot forget. I Will never forget. Somehow I still hope.
