Owari no Seraph; after saving Krul & Ferid

Yuu walked up and down the hallway thinking of what to say.
From his heart? What did that mean? It was hard enough thinking of what to say to Mika but he could also feel the stares of his squad behind him although they tried -and failed- to hide. No time for thinking. Yuu was prepared to go find Mika and just go for it when entirely coincidentally Mika walked right up to him.

"Yuu-chan have you seen Yoichi?" asked him Mika

Yuu eyed Mika suspiciously. Why was he looking for Yoichi? "Nope not at all...Why do you ask?"

"Well, Yoichi said he wanted to meet me here but I can't even find him...that's weird of him to do."

Just around the hallway's corner Yoichi was high fived by Shinoa and Mitsuba. They were gonna get those two together today no matter what. They had enough of the love stares, the eye sex and the cheesy quotes when they clearly were into each other.

"actually...Mika! I wanna tell you something really important," Yuu muttered with all of his courage

"Go for it Yuu-chan, you know I'm always here to listen," Mika said without skipping a beat

"Okay so...Mika you are extremely important to me. Maybe even a little more special than the rest of my family."

"Well, we have known each other for longer after all," Mika interrupted

"No that's not it. Just...wait, don't interrupt me! I think that you are the most wonderful person that I've been blessed of having in my life. You are my everything and I'd do anything for you. I love you so much Mika!!"

"Aw I love you too Yuu-chan! Ever since I first met you! You were so cute trying to act like you didn't like being called my family. I'm proud to be part of your family!" Mika replied

Yuu was getting more frustrated at this point. Why couldn't Mika get that Yuu liked liked him. Yuu really knew why but couldn't think of how to make Mika understand that. You see, Yuu was more of an act first, think later kind of guy so he said the first thing that popped into his mind,

"Mika, what I'm trying to say is that I am romantically interested in you and would like to bang you when I have the chance!" Yuu exclaimed

The awkward silence that followed was deadly, while both Mika and Yuu could process what just escaped Yuu's mouth.
Meanwhile, Yuu's face was getting redder and redder while Shinoa couldn't help but burst out in laugher, soon followed by the rest of the squad. It was hilarious. Not only that but the usually composed Mika lost his fucking shit! He too started getting red and stuttering, not knowing what to say or how to act in such a situation. That only caused shinoa and the rest of the squad to laugh more. It was too little to say that Yuu was MORTIFIED.
He had one chance and he screwed up -or at least that's what he thought until he heard a small giggle he had a long time to hear escape Mika's mouth. It soon developed into laughter, the most gorgeous laugh Yuu had ever heard in his whole life and apparently Yuu wasn't the only one who thought that. At that moment, the shinoa squad were all silenced, only the sound of Mika's laugh echoing in the hall. A beautiful, angelic laugh, worthy of Mika's name. Mika then spoke up,

"Yuu-chan," he said while whipping a tear off his face, "I...feel the same."

It took some time to process what Mika just said. He liked him back? Like that?

"eh? EHHH? you DO?" yuu shouted

"Yes, Yuu-chan I do. I meant it before, I truly loved you since the day we met but didnt think you would ever feel the same. Honestly I didn't even think you knew what romantic love was but I guess you always go over my expectations," Mika smiled at Yuu, Yuu smiling back at him

"Mika, if you feel the same then...can I, kiss you?" Yuu asked calmly

There was an intense moment of silence before Mika replied just as calmly and silently as Yuu,

"Yes...you can"

and so Yuu did.
