Almost a year had a gone by since that day at the coffee shop. A year that had been filled with love and laughter, but also shouts and frustration. A year that Olivia would never forget, because it was the year she had become Mrs. Stabler.
The even thought of it now still gave her chills, knowing that she was able to live the rest of her life with the man she loved.
Regarding the maniac that was out of her, he had been shot on site when they had caught him trying to get information about Olivia and Elliot from one of the computers in the bullpen late at night. After they confirmed his death, a sigh of relief was able to wash over the two of them.
They had been married almost eight months now, and those months had been the best time of Olivia's life. She was in complete bliss, finding herself with a smile on her face waking up every morning next to him. Next to this man that she had wanted to be with since the day her brown eyes met his beautiful blue ones.
It was almost eight in the morning when both of their alarms went off simultaneously. Olivia mumbled and threw her hand over to shut them off. Elliot had always been a morning person, never having an issue getting up when he needed, while Olivia was the exact opposite.
"You can't sleep forever." He whispered to her, slowly pulling the covers in his direction, hoping the movement would help her wake up.
"Yes I can. And I will. Now give back the comforter Stabler." She said in a more clear tone, but still in a sleepy manner with her eyes shut. She tugged back at the white comforter they shared every night, but Elliot was not budging.
"No way Benson. We have to get to the station in half an hour, and you need to be wide eyed and bushy tailed for that to happen. C'mon." He walked into the bathroom and started to brush his teeth, hoping that his sleepy wife would get her ass out of bed.
Slowly but surely, Olivia got out of bed and made her way into the bathroom beside Elliot. She grabbed her toothbrush, placed some minty toothpaste on it, and started to brush her teeth.
"Nice to see you finally decided to get up." He said, turning over to look at Olivia. He kissed her cheek, causing a smile to form on her face.
"At least let me rinse and spit before you go kissing me." She said, once she had gargled her mouth with some mouth wash.
The ride to the station was tranquil as Elliot drove both of them, one hand on the steering wheel and the other entangled with Olivia's hand. Since they had been together for a while now, everyone at the station was comfortable with the fact that they were together, even the Captain.
They both settled into their desks, and the smiles they walked in with were wiped away as a victim walked into the station, looking distraught and confused.
"I-I think I've been assaulted." The young blonde stammers, almost stumbling over her steps as she walks towards Olivia. Elliot and Olivia immediately get up to help the girl to a seat, and got her some water.
"Just take a few deep breaths, honey." Olivia tells her, slowly rubbing her hand up and down to try and calm down the fragile victim in front of her.
"How about you start from the beginning, what you first remember happening?" Olivia asks the blonde, while Elliot fetches her a pad of paper and a pen.
A/N: Happy New Year! As some of you may have noticed, I republished all of the chapters because I had them saved back as drafts. I hadn't been feeling this story, and was thinking about keeping it unpublished and unfinished. But, reading the other books in my library gave me some newfound motivation, as well as some newfound perspective on how I want to write this story. So for now, I am changing my writing from the first person POV it had been, to a third person POV.
