Chapter 18 (should I?)

King Marius POV

After Vara left, I made my way back to my office.   I sat behind my desk, with my hands folded under heart my chin.   I wonder what shes lying about?   I think she might of found her beloved...but wouldn't she of told us?  because I know for a fact that she doesn't want to marry drake...but why would she keep it a secret? is she embarrassed of who her beloved is?  I wonder if I should speak to and tell her my secret then maybe she'll open up to me.  I was so lost in thought that I didnt see who has entered my office.  

"is everything alright darling?" my wife asked

"mhm yes of course just thinking"

"oh about what? "

"everything" I simply stated

"oh ok have you heard word of our son?"

"No not since yesterday" I answered

"ok I wonder if vara knows anything"

Solens POV

It was almost night fall and I haven't heard anything from Vara.   I was going insane not being able to be with her.    I sent some spies to find her castle, if its not far I wanna go see her...I don't care if I get caught, I just need to hold her again.

*knock**knock*

"come in!"

"your majesty" Connor one of spies greeted me with a bow.  "We have located their castle"

"Good.   Where is it?" I asked

"Its surprisingly not far.  By road its about 2 hours but by running its only 40 minutes away." I was so happy to hear that. 

"good, now what direction?"

"North of us.  May I ask your majesty, why did you want us to track down there castle? planning an attack" he said with a smirk

"Its classified" I said in my strong tone of voice.

"My apologies for asking"

"You may go" I dismissed him.  He bowed his head and left. I quickly got up and made my way to my room.  But I was stopped by my mother

"Solen dear, what's wrong?  you've been distant all today. "

" Im fine mother just this war is crazy" I lied

"I know what you mean" she said looking sad.  why would she be sad?

"We'll as much as I love to chat with you I must go"

"Go where? its almost night fall."

" Um for a run thats all" she just nodded and walked away.  That was strang.  I walked into my room and Llithyia was laying down on my bed in skanky out fit.  I rolled my eyes

"what are you doing here!?" I said getting angry

"waiting for you silly, miss me?" she tried sounding seductive to me but it was just annoying me.

"No! how the hell did you get in!"

" your father let me in" she said batting her eyes at me.  i've should of known, he wants me to marry her even though she's not my mate.  She's no were near what my mate is.  She approached me swaying her hips.  She tried to put her hands on me, but I grabbed her wrist forcefully and dragged her out of my room.

Guards came running because i linked them to come "Prince Solen" the guards bowed there heads and they looked at Llithyia "escorted her out and she isn't allowed back to the castle anymore regardless what my father said"

"yes my prince" they bowed an they left.  God,  I hope I don't have to see her again.   I walked back into my room and closed the door.  should I surprise her ? and risk gettting caught an thrown into there cells? or call her and tell her to meet me somewhere?
