"Ya! Won Seori!" Jimin shook the door.
Won Seori?
Taehyung crept his hand behind you, and came in contact with the lower part of your spine. Your eyes grew big, but you were still paralyzed to even budge. Soon you heard a click, he stepped back as the door abruptly slid open, you faltered a few steps forwards.
"What's going on?" Hani came in.
"Are you okay?" Jimin spoke to you, earning Taehyung's rolled eyes.
"I'm..fine."
"What were you talking about??" Hani furrowed her brows, eyes swifting from Taehyung to you.
"Why don't you tell them?" Taehyung said.
"Tell us what?" Jimin glared at Taehyung.
"You know each other?" Hani added.
"..." you remained silent.
"She's my wife." With that Hani grabbed your hand and pulled you outside. It didn't stop outside the room, no she dragged you the whole way out of the hospital to the park. Passing by the many people you spotted the security guard from earlier. He seemed acquainted to Hani as he didn't step in to stop her as he did with Jihyun. His face rather confused seeing the furious Hani dragging you though. Hani stopped pulling, when you reached the park.
"Hani I can explain." You said with a gullible low voice.
"I'm listening." She crossed her arms at her chest. You were more scared of confronting Hani than your mother. She was so scary when it comes to keeping secrets. She was a strong believer of no secrets between you friends.
"Well I kind of got married." You said carefully.
"I got that part."
"And he is apparently dating my best friend...?" Her arms dropped.
"Shhiet.." her eyes grew, she brushed her hair back with both hands as she just realized her role in the play.
I'm in love with my best friend's husband.
"Ya..." you wanted to calm her down but didn't know what to say.
"Sorry Seori I didn't know.."
"It's okay...I think."
"It's freaking not okay?!? I'm freaking dating your husband!? You freaking got married before me?!!?"
"Can't we just take it easy, I just found him after two freaking weeks." Your words somehow light stroke the tension. Silence fell upon you. You placed your hands on your hips, eyes searching for a place to sit. Your eyes landed on the big stone on your left. You leaned against it to give your legs some rest.
"When did you...?" Hani stopped midways.
"Three weeks ago." You sighed, shoulders sank in the motion.
"Why didn't you tell me at the party?"
"He was with another girl... I didn't want you to witness my miserable state ... I guess..." Not that you're in much better position right now.
"You ... were the one, who brought him to the hospital?" Hani nodded.
"At first.... I wasn't fond of the asshole from the party. His attitude and arrogance, looking down on people. But then he woke up not remembering anything. He seemed scared... freaked out, but I was able to calm him down...
and then we grew fond of each other I guess, maybe I was the only one he could rely on."Hani's eyes looked far away, her face turned emotional as she was reminded of the horrible state he was in. Pale and vulnerable. You studied her face and envied her emphatic side. It was your turn to share.
"I chased a ridiculous disgusting frog hoping it would turn out being a cursed prince. It didn't.... so I married the rich guy instead. I didn't know what he looked like but it didn't mattered. We've been seeing each other maybe 3-4 times since and then suddenly he didn't came home... didn't take my calls..." Hani listening with a pout as she squat sat beside you.
"You probably didn't know he had a wife?" You looked down at her.
"Actually...." hesitation voiced in her tone.
"He has been wearing this ring... I've been asking and he said he might be married.," she halted. You slid from the stone and squatted beside her. Your both had the same expression plastered, sitting like to miserable monkeys missing their banana.
"He said that if it was marriage he was sure it wasn't out of love." You blankly stared ahead. It wasn't even a lie but it felt rather bitter to word it out.
"Hani, I'm not saying this to badmouth Taehyung..." you said just audible.
"But he's a womanizer-"
"I know" Hana cut in.
"He told me... cause he wanted to come clean."
"As long as you know." You said.
"You're fine? With me and Taehyung?" Hani turned at you with shameful eyes.
"If just you know what you're doing cause right now I can't even think clear... The only thing I'm sure about is studying. That is why I married him, I dropped out of my study last year..,"
"You married him because of what?" A tender voice tore the peaceful moment making both you and Hani sprout up with impressive speed, the fast motion made your head a bit dizzy. Jimin stood a few steps from you, but apparently close enough to hear your conversation.
"Shoot Minji is on fire." Hani whispered.
"Good luck." Your hand extended to meet the air as Hani fleet the scene before you could hold her back. Jimin marched towards you making you step backwards without realizing. You've never seen him near angry. Ever. This current state of you feeling intimate to him was foreign too.
"You got married to continue your study? I could have give you that money!" He shouted. You squatted down in despair. Energy level dangerously low.
"If I say you're right and I'm wrong will you then do me a favor?"
"Get me something me from the canteen."
"What?" He said baffled. He looked down at you, in disbelief that every crucial moment you had was twisted in a weird u-turn because of food.
"Sandwich, kimbab, banana yoghurt... no even seaweed will be fine. Anything... But not the icecube the nurses gives you for free... It doesn't taste good. "
