Angela's POV
"Talking in my sleep at night, making myself crazy, out of my mind (out of my mind), wrote it down and read it out hoping it would save me, too many times (too many times)," I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off.
Trust me there was a time, this song 🎵 was my favorite and I couldn't sleep if I hadn't listen to this song, but since I put it on my phone alarm, I hate it more than anything because it wakes me from my lovely sleep.
I got up from my bed and made my way to the bathroom and washed my face, to get rid of the sleepy face.
I sat down on my bed and unlocked my phone and went to the favorite contacts, which is only my mom.
I called her and she answered on the first ring,"hey mom," I started,"hi sweetheart," she answered back.
"Mom, can I go to the mall and buy a new black converse?" I asked hoping her answer would be yes.
"Yes, sweetie you can go,"
"Thanks mom, bye." I ended the call, not letting her to say bye.
I started leaving my room to go to the mall and I was really not in the mood to change my clothes that I'm wearing since the beginning of the day.
I locked the door and starting walking.
Okay I'll walk for a bit then I'm gonna call for a cab, I thought to myself.
I was near the park and decided to call the cab at the end of the park, so I only have to walk a little bit more.
I was walking when I saw a, holy shit, a dog 🐶.
Oh My God.
I fucking love dogs, but my mom doesn't let me have one. Typical moms.
But I told myself when I live on my own, I will buy a dog and no one can tell me not to.
I got closer to it and knelt down to hold her in my arms.
She was so smooth and sweet.
I couldn't lose the chance. I finally have a dog in my arms.
Don't get me wrong I'm not stealing it, I'm just taking a picture with her.
I took out my phone and snapped some picture of us together, smiling, laughing and doing crazy stuff with the dog and she was so friendly I kept on kissing her.
After a while I realized she must be lost and doesn't know where is her owner.
Oh stupid me! Now her owner is panicking and I'm here taking picture with her.
I knelt down again and hold her in my arms,"come here, we'll find your owner."
I started looking around in the park, searching for her owner.
I saw a small girl crying on a bench and her mom was by her side comforting her, I went near them to hear what they were saying, to know if the dog is hers.
"Shhh, my baby we will find her," her mom said hugging her sideways.
I guess this is her owner, but they haven't seen each other yet. So, I hid the 🐶 dog behind my back.
"Why is this cute girl crying?" I asked her, and she raised her head looking at me with tears in her eyes.
"I- I lost my d- dog 🐶," she said stuttering.
"No, you haven't," I told her with a smile on my face.
"How?" she asked with a raised brow.
"Like that," I told her and took out the dog 🐶 from behind me.
"Lucyyy," she screamed, while the dog barked in happiness.
She ran toward me and snatched the dog out of my hand and kept on kissing Lucy, while she licked all her face.
I just stood there and watched them with a big smile on my face.
"Thany you very much, we really appreciate it," her mom said, looking at me with a thankful eyes.
"It's nothing, just make sure that she won't lose her again, because it's obvious they love each other very much."
I was talking with her mom, but couldn't keep my eyes away from them.
After lots of kisses and licks, the girl looked at me and smiled.
She gave Lucy to her mother and came running toward me, she hugged my leg and started talking.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you very much," she hugged me tighter with each word.
"Oh, it's no problem just don't lose her again," I told her, while tilting her head upward to look at her face, but I saw tears in her beautiful grey eyes and wondered why was she crying.
"Why are you crying now? Your dog is back," I told her.
"It was a gift from his father, and now he is in military, she really misses him," she said now tears forming in her own eyes.
"Don't worry sweetie, she will be back before you know it," I kissed her on the cheeks.
"Bye, I have to go," I told her with one last kiss.
"👋 Bye bye," she said, while waving at me.
I stopped a cab, and got in, "to the mall," I told the cab driver with no emotion on my face.
We reached the mall after almost ten minutes or less.
I got out and stared at the mall for a moment and reminisced the time's I came here with my friends before the incident.
Well let's not call them friends, because if they were real friends they would have been here now.
Okay, I have to stop thinking about them and the incident, and instead focus on buying my black converse.
I made my way to the inside and went to the first shoe store that I saw.
