Color Meets Monochrome

Chapter 13

I carefully lay Alex on the bed and then slowly, I get up.
The figure seems shadowy but, with purple eyes.
It looks like a lean, foggy, shadow cat.

My eyes followed the shadow as it teleports around.
Are my eyes deceiving me or am I actually seeing this??

I look at the cat once more.
It mews and purrs as it comes closer to me.
I stay still in fear of the cat being a threat.
It sits in front of me.

"U-uh.. hi?"

"Hi."
I jump as the cat says a word.

"You can talk."

"Of course I can. I'm Lycan."

"Wait what?"
I look at the cat as it transforms into the man of evil himself, Lycan.

"What are you doing here?"

"I told you, our adventure starts at any time I want."
He smiles.

"And it just so happens that this chapter's number is an unlucky number. So who knows what other unlucky things might happen to you."
He smirks, what does he mean by chapter?? And unlucky number??

"Oops, I'm breaking the fourth wall now, what are you gonna do about it?"
He asks, someone away from me.
This person is crazy.

"Ah! I guess I got lost in thoughts. Anyways, all of your bags will be picked up in the afternoon by my guardsman. Don't worry, time will continue here. So yeah, your family might be worried."
He smiles as he teleports a guardsman in here. He's taller- the fuck?

"His name is Rycan."

"Wow very creative names."
I roll my eyes.

"Hey you shush it or else you won't ever see your precious Alex again."
He smirks.
I freeze then I look at her.

"I know how much you loooooove her."

"I don't love her, she's like a sister to me."

"Mmhm then why such an erection when thinking about her huh?"

"Hm?"
I look down and I saw my erected crotch.

"Gah!"
I push it down.

"Just tell her in the morning to get her stuff ready because our adventure starts tomorrow afternoon."

"Okay."
I reply.

"Alright ta taa~!"
He disappears into thin air.

"So Rycan, you're just gonna sleep somewhere or what?"
I ask the giant.

"I can always transform myself to fit any place so I'll be fine Sir. Lowell."

"Alright have a good night Rycan."

"You too."
He transforms and goes into my closet.
I lay back down and I hug Alex. She cuddles up to me more. Aw she's cold. I put the blanket over us to where it's at her neck and then I fall asleep.

*~The Morning~*
I wake up. I yawn and I see that Alex is-
ISN'T HERE!
I quickly get up and look for her.
I hear her giggle.

"Rycan? That's a cute name. Aww so cute!!"

"I-I'm not that cute.."
I hear him through the door of the bathroom.
Ooh imma beat him!! He's charming my soon to be girl with his looks!!!
I knock down the door, I see Rycan in a puppy form and in the sink. Alex was washing him.

"Oh hi Lowell! Have you seen Rycan?? This little guy was in the sink and-"

"He's our guard actually."

"Wait wut?"

"Yeah I forgot to mention, we have to pack our bags, our adventure is waiting for us."
I said.
Rycan hops out of the sink and on to the floor as he transforms back into his human form.
Brown hair and blue eyes come back to his familiar face.

"REALLY??"
She says as she races back to the room and starts packing.

"Woah slow d-"

"DONE!!"
She says as she lifts up her bags, completely ignoring the fact that it weighs a ton.

"Isn't that heavy??"

"You're just weak."
She smirks.

"Weak? Me? Hah! Watch this!"
I lift up the bag but, then I drop it.

"Hah!"

"Shut up! At least I tried."

"Looks like you're the princess in this one."
She pokes my nose and makes the "boop" sound.

"Hey!"
I growl, jokingly.

"I'll be carrying these bags anyways."

"Nope I'm an independent woman, and I can carry things. Now move and where is the portal?"

"Right here ma'am. Sir, can you carry yours?"

"I haven't even started packing."

"I can help!!"
Alex drops her bags and starts helping me.

"I'll just carry these bags over to the shelter on the other side of this portal okay?"
He says as he grabs the bags and opens up a blue with a white aura portal.

"Okay!"
And she continues helping me.

"So I heard you have a crush on me."

"Nope!!"
I blush and look away.
How does she know??

"You have a crush on me."
She pulls a chocolate candy named Crush out of a pocket.

"Here have my crush! I don't need it!"
She says.
I open one and it says on the little paper,

"You'll find true happiness soon."

"What does it say."
She says as she stuffs a chocolate in her mouth.

"Look and read."
I say, giving it to her.

"Oh Oki!"
She reads it.

"That's not true."

"Well most of the stuff that I've read in fortune cookies have come true."

"Hah! But that's not true!"
She smiles, laughing.

"Why rude.."
I frown, jokingly.

"Well why don't we grab all of your shit, shall we?"
She says, standing up.

"Yeah, forgot about that."

And so we packed, and we laughed.
I shared stories and she did too, we laughed and we bonded.
I really hope she likes me back.
And sooner or later, we finished.
She grabs one bag and I bring my other, then we headed into the portal together,
Well we tried but we couldn't go in at the same time so, she got inside and then I did.
A white flash blocks my view then fades as I start getting my vision back.

All I could say was,
"Wow."
