Even without his neon green hair, Mark spots Jack in the sea of people in the airport. He throws a hand up to get the other's attention, a huge grin on his face. Jack finds the tan hand in a second's time, a smile stretching his lips.
Suitcase in his fist, Jack trots to his boyfriend, twisting around other travelers. The rolling suitcase slows him down, forces him to be more cautious, but his racing heart presses him forward.
The closer he gets to Mark's smiling face, the faster his feet move. He twist past another passenger, muttering a quick apology, as he reaches nearly a sprint, no one between him and his lover. He releases the suitcase as dead weigh, focus only on reaching Mark, his shoes squeaking on the tile.
Mark opens his arms for the sprinting brunette. Jack jumps into his embrace, arms securing around his neck and legs around his waist. Mark groans from his weight, though he is smiling at the way Jack buries his face into his neck.
The raven secures his arms around his boyfriend's torso, squeeze him tight against his chest. Jack inhales deeply, surrounding himself with the scent of his lover, remembering how horribly he missed him.
Jack pulls himself from Mark's neck, peppering his face with quick, dry kisses. "I missed you. I missed you. I missed you," he murmurs between pecks, holding the raven tight, loving how Mark can hold him in his strong arms.
"I missed you more, Roo," Mark coos, chuckling from the attention.
Jack giggles, rubbing his nose into Mark's dark stubble. "I doubt that, Moomoo."
Mark kisses the corner of Jack's mouth, encouraging him to turn his head. They catch each other's lips fully, kissing softly, cherishing each other's heat. Finally, the break apart with soft pants, brushing their noses together in small Eskimo kisses.
"I can't wait to get back to get home and cuddle with you," Jack nearly groans, legs loosening so he can slide back to his feet. "I'm burrowing into those blankets and never getting back up."
"You might have to postpone those plans, babe," Mark chuckles lightly, retrieving Jack's suitcase. "I'm just a bit behind on videos. And, from the way your schedule looks, you are too. With PAX coming this weekend, we don't have much time."
Jack groans, following Mark to the exit. "But I want to cuddle," he pouts.
"Best I can do is a collab video," Mark grins, leading them back to the car.
"Damn family," Jack mutters, frowning. "Damn wedding. Damn cousins planning their damn weddings around PAX."
"Oh, you missed them," Mark insists, popping open the trunk to heaving the suitcase inside with a huff.
Jack's heart lurches, thankful he already pressed the flower in a book secured in his suitcase. He chuckles to ease his nerves, a teasing smirk on his face. "Skip the gym while I was gone, Moomoo?"
"Maybe a few times," Mark admits, releasing a harsh breath. "But you are really starting to pack like Felix. You were gone for three days, babe. Did you even really need a suitcase?"
"Felix would need twice that size," the brunette insists, sliding into the passenger side. He settles in his seat, mind drifting to his proposal. The fact that Felix won't be there doesn't settle well with him, turning his stomach a bit sour.
"What's wrong, babe?" Mark asks, sliding into the car as well.
"I just," Jack pauses, pushing the thought around in his head for a moment. "Don't you think it's going to be weird? Ya know, celebrating our fourth anniversary without Felix? I don't know. Just kinda seems like he should be there."
"I mean, I guess we probably wouldn't have gotten together if Felix didn't make us share a bed," Mark admits. "But, he does still hate me."
"He doesn't," the Irishman insists. "He's just embarrassed. Really, really embarrassed. That entire convention was just, not great for him."
"Ken and I still talk," Mark mentions, to prove a point.
"Ken doesn't really talk to me," Jack offers back.
"Ken never called you a slut," Mark reminds him, still bitter.
"He said things far worse to me than that," Jack frowns.
The raven gives a small sigh, nodding slowly. "I guess you're right. If you want Felix there, then you should invite him, babe."
"Really?" Jack chirps.
"Of course," Mark smiles. "I'm willing to extend an olive branch. I mean, it's been years since that entire mess. There's no use having bad blood anymore."
"Thanks, babe," Jack grins, leaning over to press a kiss to Mark's cheek. "And you promise not to throw the first punch this time?"
"I'll always throw the fist punch in your defense."
"Such a brute," Jack laughs.
"You love it," Mark smirks with a wink.
