recap:
"Miss me?"
Jeremy practically launched himself onto her, causing her to lean slightly but still stand. Finally, she was home. Finally, things were looking up for the young Gilbert boy and his family.
She was back, and that was all that mattered... for now.
. . .
"Theia! You're actually here, I... I missed you so much," Jeremy hugged her with all his strength, pulling her impossibly close as she did the same, rocking them side to side.
"I missed you too, Jer, but I'm not very pleased to hear what you've been doing while I was gone," She paused dramatically after pulling away, "I do understand though." She pulled away and smiled at him reassuringly. He rolled his eyes but nonetheless was glad she wasn't harshing on him like Elena does - and would undoubtedly do if the roles of the sisters were switched.
"When did you get here?" Jeremy still had a smile on his face, but still looked like a confused little puppy. She thought it was adorable.
"Just a while ago, and don't worry Jer, I'm not leaving any time soon." She pulled him in for another hug, savoring the moment with her brother.
After a moment, Theia pulled away and smiled at Alaric. "So, you're the history teacher my aunt is drooling over. Hi, I'm Theia." She held her hand out politely, eyeing him subtly.
"Oh um, hello. I'm Alaric. It's really nice to meet you, even though I've heard very little about you." He smiled warmly nonetheless.
Theia nodded slowly, "You too, you know, you're nice. Jen-Jen, you officially have my approval."
No one seemed to notice the fiery red haze in her eyes as she observed the man.
Before Jenna could say anything Theia started, "So Jer, do you know where Lena is? I did actually miss her, even though we both know that we weren't the closest of sisters." Theia asked lightly, already knowing that Jeremy wouldn't have a happy reaction.
"She's probably at the Grill with her boyfriends." Jeremy scoffed, "Anyways, if Jenna didn't tell you, she's still bitchy as always." He added nonchalantly as Jenna gasped loudly - and dramatically.
"Language!" Alaric and Jenna exclaimed in unison.
"Wow, they do that often?" Theia teased the adults, raising her eyebrows suggestively at Jeremy, then winking at him causing him to crack a smile again at her teasing grin.
