Gabriel
A single wish is what he held in his hands. The two Miraculouses together would grant him a single wish. He knew what he wanted to wish for, but could he bring himself to wish for it? Or was there something that would be better for him in the long run? He had really started to actually think things through as of late. He couldn't just throw something together, like his most popular designs, good plans took time.
Did he really have to wear the earrings to get his wish, or could he just hold them in his hand? "Nooroo must I have the Miraculouses on properly to make my wish?" The words left his mouth before he even realized it. Not that it mattered anyway, no one was around to hear him. No one except Nooroo.
"Despite popular belief, you do not need to wear the Miraculouses to make a wish. If you are making a wish on the miraculous of creation and the miraculous of destruction then you must hold them in your hand and make the wish, since the need to be in contact in order to give each other the power that is needed to make the one wish come true." Nooroo said and Gabriel had to resist the urge to cringe at the kwami's voice. Nooroo's voice was just so high pitched.
"Why'd you tell him that?" Plagg sounded angry, which was a surprise to no one. It would have bought Adrien some time to find him if his father didn't know the truth. But of course Nooroo had spilled the beans.
"He is my master." Nooroo said simply. His downcast eyes, refusing to look at either one of them. He could not lie to his master, but that didn't mean he felt good about that, Gabriel knew that from all the time he had spent with Nooroo.
"So I can wish for anything right now." It had actually been a few days after Gabriel had gotten the Miraculouses in his possession. He felt stupid for not asking if he could wish for something sooner. He figured that he was going to have to get his ears pierced, which luckily he hadn't done yet. He hadn't wanted to do it too soon incase anyone were to catch onto the act.
He was over thinking everything. He knew he was. Now that he had the power in his hands, literally, he had to plan this out carefully. He didn't want to wish for the wrong thing.
He could wish for so many things. There were endless possibilities. But one thing stuck out in his mind above the most. The one thing that caused him to start being HawkMoth. The one thing that he knew he just had to wish for. And yet, he was having second thoughts.
He wanted his wife back, more than anything. It was the reason he set out to get this wish in the first place, to bring her back to him. But what if there was something more important to wish for? Something that could bring his wife back to him and stop ChatNoir and Ladybug or any Miraculous holders from getting their Miraculouses.
He thought for a moment, was there some way he could get both? Or did he have to decide between the two. If he did, then the choice would be simple. But if there was a way to get both, then he wanted to go with that. For him, it seemed like it would be the answer to their problems.
"Nooroo, is there a way I can make two wishes in one?" He asked, not sure if adding a simple and would do.
"I'm sorry master, but there is not. You can only wish for one thing with the power of the two Miraculouses." Nooroo answered. He was telling the truth, Gabriel knew it. He was too afraid not to.
Gabriel continued to contemplate his choices. There had to be some way he could wish for both. There had to be some kind of loophole, one he just hadn't thought of yet. And suddenly it hit him, the perfect way to get both of what he wanted.
Holding the Miraculouses tight, he opened his mouth; "I wish..."
