Marinette

Her whole world had changed. Within seconds she knew nothing would be the same. It was like waking up after having a dream and trying to remember what had happened as it all slowly faded away. Something was wrong, she knew that, but she couldn't remember what.

She sat up in her bed, trying to remember something that she couldn't quite grasp. It was like trying to take in too much information at once and to make it worse, she was unable to put the pieces together. Instantly, she knew that something was wrong.

Now, Marinette forgot things quite a bit. But there was just something different about this. It felt too important to forget, and yet she had forgotten. What was it though? What had she forgotten?

"Marinette, its time to get up. You have to get ready for school." Her mother called up to her. She got up and hurriedly got dressed. She was late, per usual. But this time it was because she was slowed by the fact that she felt like she was missing something.

"I didn't have anything important to do today or even this week did I?" Marinette asked her mom. If it was something important, then chances were that she had told her mom. She told her mom just about everything, and if not her than Alya.

  "Nothing that you've told me."

"Oh, okay. Thanks mom." Marinette thanked her before leaving the house. The whole way there only two thoughts were on her mind, try and figure out what was missing, but also find Alya.

The auburn haired girl was not hard to find once at school. She was standing outside talking with Nino and Adrien when Marinette got there. Probably waiting for her like she did every morning. Which Marinette actually appreciated greatly.

"Hey Alya, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Yeah sure, girl." Alya said and flashed the two boys a smile before excusing them and dragging Marinette away so they could talk. Marinette knew that Alya knew that something was up. It was written across her face that she knew something was wrong. "So what's up?"

"By chance did I tell you something? Something that I was supposed to do or something. Because I've been feeling as if I've been forgetting something like all day." Marinette admitted.

"Not that I knew of. But it's funny, I've been feeling like that too. Nino and Adrien were just saying the same thing." Alya informed her.

"Should we maybe call them over then? Compare it all?"

"You got it girl." Alya said before calling the two boys over. "Alright, So Marinette said she's been feeling the same way. And by the looks of it, it's bothering her just as much as it's bothering Adrien."

"What?" Marinette asked quite confused as to what was going on.

"It's just that Nino and I are kind of at that I forgot my keys kind of level. By the way it's nothing you and Adrien though, it seems like you forgot you were allergic to something."

"And as far as I know, everyone that we've talked to feel the same way. Like they're missing something. Again, not as big as you dudes." Nino said.

Marinette nodded slowly, trying to take all of this in. What could be bothering her and Adrien so much? What could be so big to throw her off so much? What was it that Marinette and Adrien had forgotten? Marinette wished she knew.

I'm sorry this is another short chapter. But I've honestly I'm just not as interested in this as I used to be. It's not like I don't want to continue this, because I do, but I guess I'm just more invested in other stories I'm working on. Whoops. Sorry.
