In the middle of the night, beside Grey's bed, a radio went off. The panicked voice of Link woke the General up quickly, grabbing for the communicator.
"Sir! Its urgent. We need you down here immediately. They're here."
Grey suited up and ran to the center, being met with a flurry of Troopers in a frenzy. They chatted back and forth as the moved around they room, checking radio transmissions and gaining information on the Star Destroyers that had entered their system. Link motioned for Grey to follow him to the hologram in the middle of the room, featuring two of the large ships.
"We don't know why they're here yet, but it can't be anything good."
Grey leaned over the hologram, helmet hiding an agitated facial expression, "I'm going to make a call. If they come anywhere near our planet, I'll take care of it."
"Yes, Sir. We'll keep you posted."
The General walked away and tapped on a transmitter located on the arm, "Apollo, we've got trouble. Get down to the command center now."
A groggy voice replied from the other end, "Alright, I'm on my way."
Once Apollo had arrived, Link told the two that the ships seemed to be pointed in their direction, but it was unclear where they could be headed. The transmissions were still rocky, although they were at least hearing voices at that point. Grey made the decision to make a trip with only Apollo's aid. The two left the center and made their way toward the ships, where Jumper attempted to stop them.
"Where are you two going?"
Grey pushed past and continued walking, "Just going out for a cruise."
"You're not great at telling jokes. What's happening?"
"Apollo and I are going to deal with it, just go back to bed."
Trailing behind them with an annoyed look on his face, he started, "General-"
"Bed, Jumper. That's the end of it. We don't have time right now."
Jumper stopped in his tracks as the other two boarded their ships and took off. After watching them leave, he shook his head and ran back to the command center to find out what was happening.
Grey and Apollo broke the atmosphere and turned on their scramblers. It would keep them out of the ship's sensors for a short period of time. Without much of a plan, the two prepared to board one of the shuttles. Apollo learned to stop questioning the General's tactics a long while back. They landed in a hangar that had a few Stormtroopers surveying ships, but not doing much else. One decided to march over to Grey's ship, confused as to why a TIE Avenger had been missing. As the door to the ship began opening, Apollo snatched the Trooper's gun from his arms and knocked him out. The two pulled the Stormtrooper inside this ship and carefully. They removed his armour, tied him up, and wrapped a cloth around his mouth to silence him.
"Suit up," Grey ordered.
"Why me?"
"White's not really my colour."
Apollo sighed and strapped up, as Grey walked carefully outside and hid between two other ships to wait. When he was ready to move, Grey followed quietly, creeping between TIE Fighters while Apollo walked casually towards the door into the ship. He scouted the area and motioned for Grey to follow. The two continued onwards through the corridors, making way carefully. The fake Stormtrooper peered around each corner, waiting for any soldiers to pass before heading forward. The General kept careful watch from behind, keeping close to Apollo. The next room was wide, with many patrols passing through. Holding his gun to his chest, he grabbed his partner's arm and proceeded. A few looks were given, but no Troopers stopped to ask where he was taking his 'prisoner'. After entering into another corridor, the two stopped and knelt down.
