*3 days later*

I just finished my shift at Forever 21, I had 3 hours of break before my shift at KFC so I decided to go out and try to buy a guitar, because I didn't bring mine from home and I promise Kian I would play for him. I wandered around for a little bit until I found a music shop, it was close to the Walk of Fame. I entered the shop and looked around for a bit. It was a very nice shop. The walls were a crimson red with a lot of windows and decorations on the walls. There were pictures of music artist, their instruments on the wall and many records.

"Can I help you?" A male voice asked from the counter.

"Oh I'm looking for a guitar." I said.

"Follow me." He said and led me to the section with the guitars.

"What are you looking for? Something professional or something you can kick back and relax with at home?" He smiled.

"Kick back and relax." I smiled back.

"This is your choice." He said and pointed to about 6 guitars. "Are you looking for a certain price?" He added.

"Well I have $110." I said and pulled out the bills from my pocket and he made a 'yikes' face.

"I'm sorry honey but that's not going to be enough for a guitar, not in this shop at least." He said and I frowned.

"I'd recommend going to the 'Music bird', let me write you the address." He said and walked to the counter. He wrote the address down and handed me the piece of paper. I thanked him and walked out.

"Good luck!" He yelled behind me. I waved at him and looked at the paper. I have no idea where this is, I assume it's not far but I don't know the streets around here. I just don't want to get lost. I pulled out google maps and tried to find the address. I walked around for about half an hour before actually finding it. I walked inside and looked around again. It didn't look as expensive as the last one but it still looked nice. I walked to the guitar section and looked through a few.

"May I help you?" A woman walked up to me.

"Yes, could yo tell me how much this costs?" I asked pointing to a black guitar.

"$250" She said and my eyes widened.

"What's the cheapest one you have?" I asked.

"That's it." She said and I nodded.

"Okay well thank you, I'll get back to you on that." I said and she walked away. I walked out of the store and let out a breath. This went way worse than I expected. I crossed my arms over my chest and started walking back to the mall where I work. I put my headphones in and kept my head down. After 10 minutes of walking someone pulled on my arm.

"Where are you headed?" A familiar voice asked. I took my headphones out and looked up.

"Oh hey Kian." I smiled.

"So, where are you headed?" He asked again.

"Oh uhm I was going out to buy a guitar but uh-" Should I tell him?

"I didn't have enough money." I said. I was honestly ashamed a little bit, he's probably going to think it's funny.

"Really? How expensive are they?" He cocked his head, he tends to do that a lot.

"$250" I said. "I was about $140 off." I added as a joke.

"Damn, that sucks." He said and I nodded with my lips pursed in a line.

"What about you?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I went to get more Pringles, also how come you're walking this way?" He was confused.
