The moon is bright, caressing my shadow as I walk. Voices break the silence of the night and I crouch behind trees. Two boys are gliding on penny boards along the road to what seems like a city. My boots lightly click the pavement as I walk towards the city lights. I reach a sign that says
Welcome to Los Angles California!
Well at least now I know where I am. My stomach rumbles interrupting my thought. I haven't eaten in almost 2 days. I. Need. Food. Coming closer and closer to the city I notice a McDonald's. Hallelujah! The angels have heard my prayer! My stomach continues to sound like a ravenous animal until I set my paid meal down. Once finished eating I head for the bathroom to freshen up. Opening the door I see a woman hunched over on the floor. She doesn't move when I nudge her so I continue to do so until I have the realization that she's dead! Oh my gosh why does this happen to me? Feeling her chest I breath in until I feel her soul perched in her heart. It feels so warm compared to her lifeless body. The poor thing will die in there if it stays. I pull my mouth up to hers and feel the energy beginning to surge through me. I feel her soul perch in my cold and dark heart. I'm done and...... there is someone behind me. The reflection in the mirror shows an older woman and she is glued in her place. She is frightened stiff. I swiftly turn right in front of her to see that she is about to scream. Shoving my hand over her mouth I lock us in the bathroom with the dead woman. The woman is sputtering and talking so fast I don't catch a word she's saying, until she utters the word demon.
" What did you say?"
" D-d-dem-on."
" How do you know about us?" No one has ever believed us to be real or at least none that are alive.
" I-I had my mother t-aken by one of y-you a long time ago. I've believed ever since."
" Well are you gonna tell?"
" No." She is shaking with disbelief still lodged in her throat.
" I can't trust someone I just met. Looks like I have no choice but to kill you."
" Everyone is given a choice. It's just wether you act on it."
Almost afraid I look up at the woman and see she is no longer rattled by me, but trying to intimidate me. Almost bursting with laughter I grab the woman harshly and slam her head against the porcilean sink. Her body lay still with fragments of her skull scattered about. Washing the evidence off my hands I walk out gingerly drawing less attention to myself. Still feeling unsettled I stride out of the resturant with her chilling words repeating in my head.
" Everyone is given a choice. It's just wether you act on it."
I find a motel to stay in for the night and I have never seen anything tackier. Frankly I don't care because all I need is sleep. Finally resting my head I instantly fall asleep.

"I love you lex."
" You can't leave me Jay!"
" Lex they are going to figure it out and I don't want to be killed."
" But you take care of me. not them."
" Don't worry. I'll figure something out, but for now just let me go."
" Where will you go?"
" I don't.....
"JAYDEN! LET GO OF HER!"
Black is all that is seen. Whispers are being said but not heard. They took me. They took me to kill me so I wouldn't hurt anybody else. They don't understand that I don't take souls that are in a living body. They will never understand.
Running into the woods is how I'll get away. I'm good at hiding. I'll keep moving. They won't find me. I will be tough and act how I seem. People see me as mean then I will be mean.

The bright sun shines directly over my face waking me. I used to have peaceful sleep, but now it seems like every time I close my eyes I see those horrible people. To take my mind off of the nightmare I turn on the Television. Flipping through the channels I land on the news.
Breaking News!
2 women found dead in a fast food restaurant. No one is sure what happened...
Yeah I'm only guilty for one of those women.
Witnesses are saying they saw a woman around 5/7 with long brown hair entered the bathroom before the crime scene was found.. Detectives are trying their best to find this suspect for questioning.
As if on cue I heard a knock at my door. Wonder who that could be. Peering through the peep hole I see two detectives. Well today is my lucky day.
