" Do you like him?" I asked again since Louis wasn't responding. He opened his mouth like he was going to say something but closed it again. Maybe he did like Harry, it definatly wasn't impossible. They practically act like they are dating already.
I continued to stare at the boy in front of me, waiting for him to answer my question.
"N-no." He stuttered nervously. Liar.
"Is that so?" I responded taking a sip of my drink. He nodded but didn't look me in the eyes.
"You know it's okay if you do right? I don't discriminate." Probably because I'm also gay I thought but didn't say that aloud.
"I know, but I don't." He replied. I could tell he was lying, but I decided not to persist anymore. He would tell me when he was ready. If someone was pressuring me toannounce something that I wasn't ready for, I wouldn't like it.
I nodded and continued to eat my food.
"Hey Liam?"
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for agreeing to come hang out with me. For a second I thought you didn't like me." Wait what?
"What? Why would you think that?" I asked.
"Well, you always seemed to talk to the other boys and not that much to me. I actually thought you were gonna try to steal my best friends and leave me all by myself." I was shocked. I couldn't believe he would think I would do that! Honestly I can't, I wouldn't be able to do such a thing!
"Of course I wasn't planning on doing that! I'm not that mean!" Actually I'm not really mean. If I even call someoneca bad word, I regret it as soon as it comes out my mouth. I'm just not that type of person.
"I know that now." Louis said smiling a bit. I chuckled and stood up to walk to the garbage bin since I was done with my food. Louis followed me also depositing his trash in the garbage bin.
"Ready to go?" I asked Louis. He nodded and we walked to the car. Louis gave me the directions to his flat, which wasn't that far.
"Well this is where I live. Thanks again Liam. Bye" Louis said giving me a side hug before exiting my car. I waved and watched as he entered his home.
I drove away to my house. Today was unexpected.
After about 15 minutes, I pulled in to my driveway. I got out and entered my flat.
"Mum?" I call out, maybe she was home. Mum did work a lot.
"In here!" She responded. I couldn't help but smile at the fact that she was actually home. I followed the sound of her voice and ended up in the kitchen where I saw my mum cooking.
"How was school honey?" Mum asked me.
"Great." I responded. "How was work?"
"Oh you know, stressful as always. I was glad I got to get out early. I missed seeing you. When ever I'm home your always sleeping."
"It's okay." I smiled at my mum. She sure was hard working and thats why I love her. She does so much for me.
"I hope your hungry." I wasn't since I just ate but I didn't tell her that, she's making me food so we can eat together, something we haven't done in a while.
I got the table ready, setting up the plates, and forks. No spoons of course. My mum put some spagetti and chicken on my plate and then some on hers.
"So, any girls you are intrested at school?" Mum asked. She didn't know I was gay. I didn't have the guts to tell her. Mum didn't discriminate against homosexuals, but still, I didn't know how to tell her, and besides, I never really have had the time to do so.
"No." I responded.
"No? Well there must be someone you like!" I didn't want to lie to her, but I didn't want to tell her I was gay. So I just didn'tv respond and shoved food in my mouth.
"Liam! We were so close and now you're keeping secret from me?" My mum said, she looked so heart broken and sad, it just broke my heart.
"Mum, I swear, I don't like any girls."
"So you're telling me that you, a hormonal teenager, doesn't like anyone? I don't believe it."
I sighed running my hand through my hair. Should I tell her?
"Liam, just tell me who it is. What's so bad about liking someone?"
" I like a boy mum."
