The Hunt

Libby's POV

We were all still upset about Cali's death. We got up and sat up on the ground with our heads down.

Suddenly, Jerome barged in through the door.

"Hey girls. We were wondering if you wanted to go hunting with us?" He asked.

I was thinking about because we were all still sad, but then I thought that it take our mind off of it. And we needed to wake up. We were riding till midnight and fell asleep at Cali's cabin.

"Sure!" I said trying to sound excited.

We grabbed our bags and weapons, hopped on our horses, and then we were on our way.

We rode through a path in the forest and got to an open prairie. It was a nice place to hunt.

I was surely calmed down.

"Come on! Let's hunt!" I said with a big grin on my face.

We hunted till lunch. It was a good day we got a lot of leather and also a lot of meat.

We started to head back home through the forest when we heard a sound. It sound like a dragon, but we weren't sure. We kept trotting through the forest and heard the sound again.

"Okay, something's up." Jerome said as he brought out Betty.

Then we heard a Big Bang. Like an explosion.

"We have to get back home!" Mitch yelled.

We started galloping towards home. I looked to the side and saw trees on fire.

"Watch out!" Yelled Sundee.

He was just in time because a tree on fire fell right in front of me. We were stuck in an open plain. We heard two big roars. We looked around the place, but couldn't figure out where the noise was coming for.

"Hey look!" Julie yelled as she pointed to the sky.

There we saw two dragons fighting each other. One was way smaller. The smaller one was teal and the other was black, red and white. And gigantic!

Julie's POV

It was the biggest dragon I've ever seen.

I leaned over to libby and asked, "did we ever get that research?"

Her eyes widened. She slowly took out her diamond sword. She then stared straight at me with the most serious face I've ever seen her do.

"That's him. That's DL!"

All of team Canadian looked at her and I. We all nodded at each other and knew what we had to do. We got off our horses and got our swords. I saw libby just staring at the two dragons fight.

"What the heck is going on?!" Ty said as he got off his horse and the rest of team crafted.

We all lined up ready to kill him.

"That the monster that kept on destroying our homes" crimson explained as a tear ran down her face.

Team crafted got their swords and got in line.

"What's the plan?" Mitch asked ann.

"There is no plan. Just kill both dragons."

We charged at the dragons. The dragons saw us. We realized we were at war.

We ran towards the dragons, and stopped. The dragons landed and folded their wings back. They put their necks down as if they were ready to charged at us.

We got in our position to attack. DL roared and we charged.

It reminded me of the night Cali was killed.

Sorry it took so long and I'll be doing a least a chapter a month. I've been busy with exams right around the corner so the chapters might not get longer till the end of June.
