/Meanwhile at Marven's house/

Both Kame and Marven sat on the couch watching TV, flipping through channels to see what was good to watch. Kame was cuddling next to Marven while she flip through the channels. They didn't want to get up or leave the room, all they wanted was time to themselves.

Kame: "How many days do you have until your next gig?" She asked, poking her playfully, although it didn't really affect her.

Marven: " I have 2 weeks, so I guess we got some time to ourselves. Crappy part is that you'll be busy most of  the time."

Marven gave out a sigh, as she placed her hand on top of Kame's head. She looked to right, seeing the hedgehog girl give a little smile at her.

Kame: "I promise Marven, I'll stay out of protecting the city for all that I can."

Marven: "Let's hope so." She leaned closer and kissed Kame's forehead.

They watched a comedy show, "NightWatchman", even though Marven didn't laugh at the jokes, Kame did to some of them. For about 4 episodes, they watched until Marven's stomach started to rumble.

Marven: "Could you get something from the fridge for me? Too lazy to get up." She asked playfully.

Kame: "Too lazy as well. Plus I don't want to move."

Marven: "Lauren!" She called out, getting a response from the other side of the house.

"What!"

Marven: "Could you get me something from the fridge?"

Lauren: "Can't you do it yourself?"

Marven: "Too lazy sis, you do it."

Lauren: -grunts- "Fiiiine"

A door was then heard opening and closing. Walking down the hallway was a girl of the age of 10, she had brown hair like her sister, but she had blue eyes, and wore a cap with a purple T-shirt and jeans. She wore the cap just to differentiate the two apart.

She walked to the kitchen, towards the fridge. She opened the fridge to get two eggs, climbed the counter and opened a drawer to get a plate and a pan. She opened another one to get a nonstick spray and closed all the drawers. Then she just left them on the counter and left towards her room.

Lauren: "Make yourself an omelette, your the one who's hungry. "

Marven: "Can't, too tired."

Kame giggled and got up from the couch to make her the omelette. A few minutes later she brought the omelette on the plate with a fork. Marven Started to eat as Kame picked up the controller and changed the channel. She went past a few of them, until she reached a news report that was talking about "blinding" lights coming from the South side of Brink City. She looked back at Marven, she was not happy. She knew that Kame was gonna check out what was causing that.

Marven: "Don't."
She replied with a bit of food in her mouth.

Kame just ignored it and kept changing the channel. She just thought it was just another one of Edward's schemes anyways.

/The next day/

Kame woke up on the couch by the sound of her phone ringing.

Kame: "Who is this?"

???: "Your conscience, we don't speak much."

Kame: "Very funny Esbe, what does Arin want?" She got up and walked to the kitchen.

Esbe: "Did you see the news last night?"

Kame: "Yeah but I didn't go to deal with it, why did you ask?"
