If it wasn't for Jack

School

Normal POV

Elsa arrives at school just in time before lunch ends. She wished Jack wasn't a year older than her. Why did he have go and graduate last year? Why did he have to ho to college? She really wanted him here with her, that's the only way she could make it through here. But sadly Jack had to go to the university so he wouldn't miss the rest of his classes. He said he'll pick her up right after school and his classes finish.

Everyone is still in lunch so it's the perfect time for her to get her books and go to the attendance office. As she was walking into the office, she spotted Vanessa and her posse of copy cats. She held her books close and kept her head down, hoping they wouldn't see her, too late.

"Well, well, well, girls, looky at who we have here." Elsa looked up at Vanessa. "What do you want Vanessa?" "I just wanted to say 'Hi Elsie'. Where have you been for the last few weeks?" "Away," Elsa answered. "Really? Because if I do recall, I saw you working at the diner a couple blocks down," her copy cats laughed.

"Poor Elsa, she can't even afford public school. At least that explains why she doesn't have nice clothes", Esmeralda said. "C-can you just leave m-me alone? I-I have to get to the of-office," Elsa stuttered.

"Alright, let's go girls. Little Elsie, has to go to office," Vanessa says mimicking her voice. They step aside and she continues to walk until Meg sticks out her leg and trips Elsa. She hears them cackled as they went off down the hallway.

Elsa went through the rest of the day conscious of what people were saying about her. Everywhere she went in school people were looking, whispering, and pointing at her. She wanted school to be over so bad.

During her second to last class of the day, she pulled out her phone and texted Jack. Hey Jack -E
Hey Snowflake ;) What's going on? -J
nothing, just in class -E
ok -J
what time are u picking me up? - E
um... idk. I'm in my last class now what time does school end? - J
3:30 -E
I should be there by 3 - J
ok, I'll be ready see you then -E
see u then - J

She put her phone in her bag as she left to go to her last class of the day. She really didn't pay attention in that class either. All she really could think about was the kiss, she and Jack shared earlier that day. His lips were so soft. She loved the feeling of them against her lips. She wanted to go back to that moment.

Elsa stepped back into the present and noticed someone left a note on her desk. She was afraid to open it. Her hands were shaking as she did. The note read:

Elsa wanted to burst into tears right there. Only 2 more months and I'll be graduating from this Hell Hole. She raised her hand and asked permission to go to the bathroom. Once she was out in the hallway, she rushed to the bathroom. She sat in the stall and cried softly.

Who would ever want to live in thus cruel cold world? This is a horrible place filled with many mean people. Elsa pulled out her phone and checked the time. It was 3:00, only 25 more minutes until school ended.

Elsa got cleaned up and headed back to class. They were watching a video now for the rest of class. Many minutes later, the bell rang for class to get out and the teacher asked her to stay after class. He kept telling her that she needed to catch up in her work because of the days she's missed. He handed her a few packets and papers that was all the homework, classwork, and notes she missed.

She figured she had a lot to do to get caught up with all of her classes. She went to every teacher asking them what she missed in class and her make up work. By the time she finished she came out into the parking lot by 4 o'clock.

She saw Jack leaning against his car talking to Vanessa and them. They were laughing and giggling fortuitously with him. Anger built up inside her but she quickly suppressed it.

These girls seem fimilar from last year. Why won't they leave me alone? I'm trynna wait on Elsa. Ah there she is. "Elsa," he waves her over to him. He notices how her head is down. When she walks to him, he moves to the side and opens the door for her. "You know Elsa?" one of the girls ask. "Yea, umm sorry ladies but I gotta go. Bye." He walks to the drivers seat. "Wait, I'm Vanessa and they are Esmeralda and Meg. What's you name?"She bats her eyelashes. "Jack, Jack Frost."

He gets in the car puts in his shades and pulled out so fast that his engine sounded like a motorcycle.
