T'Challa had me meet with this guy who talked a lot and showboated that he was smart and had money and all this other crap I wasn't keen on listening too. But he did make the weapons fast... lightweight too.
I assumed that Killmonger would find me because he didn't leave a call number and his file didn't list one for him. So I kept the weapons locked up for the last 24 hours.
I postmated some food to myself not having the feel for cooking.
"Now this is a surprise." I opened the door more and invited him in. "That poor delivery person."
"She's fine." He spoke making himself comfortable.
I rolled my eyes my housecoat flowing behind me as I went to change.
"You have a thing for leopards, don't you?" He asked sipping the soda I brought.
"My favorite predator."
He nodded his head reaching for the bag, I snatched it up before he opened it.
"I know you didn't come here to eat my food and learn more about me."
"Some things a file can't tell yup." He shrugged standing up.
" I'll keep that in mind." I walked into the back room. Sitting the bag on a desk and walking over to the safe.
I was focused on the code until a warm presence broke that. I looked up continuing to press the code.
"You don't mind me being this close?"
"The safe is on a code tumbler, it changes every fifteen minutes. " I spoke putting my thumb on the scanner.
You know that automatic reaction you have when something or someone touches the back of your neck? How you try to hide your neck with your shoulder and back of your head.
That's what I didn't do, no my body's natural reaction was to turn and try to fight him. He pinned me to his body until my lids got so heavy they closed on their own. I barely formed a weak ass threat before going completely out.
I groaned softly because everything was foggy. That and my body was a bit stiff.
"Good Afternoon."
"I should kick your ass." I hissed.
"Then my boys would have to kill you."
"Not if I kill them first." I glared.
He gave me a smirk before answering " You're cute when you're evil."
"Watch the quite short ones."
He stood up from the other side of the jet walking over to me he held out his hand.I just looked at him, sitting up crossing my arms over my chest.
"Come on. You're going to miss the show. "
"What show?" He spoke to my curiosity.
I passed his hand and walked to the front. Three days ago I had never seen Wakanda from the sky and it looked not even real as we were flying away from it.
Coming in, breaking the barrier of Wakanda, made it seem marvelous. Like every bad thought, I ever had about this place seemed vain.
"El Dorado," I whispered now understand the name.
"What do you know about it?" Killmonger asked
"I thought it was a myth. I'd never imagined it was real." I almost forgot to breathe.
My reaction was scary to me, here I had lived in this place my whole life and I was reacting to it like it was the first time seeing it.
"Everything about this place is true," Killmonger said.
