So now I am living in Midland Tx and my father is the manager of General Cinema. And you what that means! Free movies with your friends any day any time. This was great! My father being an artist had us watch the movie Heavy Metal. And when I watch it today the work done in this movie still amazes me😇. I guess as you get older the detail of things become more clear.
Great work guys!
The battle came when all sudden my father fell ill. I remember putting a cold rag on his face on the floor where he was laying there was no bed I think we had just moved in to a new house. I remember they thought it was food poisoning from a restaurant and he was transported to the hospital. One day two I knew something was wrong! My mother tells me it's gall stones in his bladder and they will operate in six weeks. But something was wrong and they would not let me go see him they said you had to 14 years old to go up and see him. I was furious I yelled to my something wrong I don't want him to die. It was very emotional and strong something was wrong and I to young to help. Because of my age 13 no one heard me.
Mother had me stay the night at Kastinas house a friend of mine. I remember her father holding me in bed  like a husband holds his wife or child when they are sleeping. Lasting told me this was normal. I was not comfortable being held by another man.
So my mother shows up and I am half awake and I see a man standing next to her . I thought it was my father at first and I look and the man was thinner and it was the priest from our church.
And my mother could hold back and told me my father had passed in front of kastinas whole family. They cancelled there pick nick trip that day.
And the balling started! The greatest disappointment in my life . At 13 years old I knew something was wrong. I left my fathers life in the hands of Midland Memorial hospital and has was gone in three days! They a blood clot in his leg went to his heart and killed him.
I still feel today I could have saved him if they would have let me go up to the hospital.
Funeral services were held with the military guns and military service men honoring him. A lot of people where there. My life forever changed.
