Toby Cavanaugh and Spencer Hastings are best friends since they both were 5. They were neighbors, classmates and almost everything except for lovers or maybe its what they thought. People think they were more than friends because sometimes they become so handsy even in public.
Toby surely has a lot of feelings for her but Spencer doesn't know about that.

"Hey douchebag!"Spencer screamed.
"What?"
"I'm going on a date tomorrow!" She said.
Toby's face turned red.
"You're kidding me right?"
"No I'm not"
"But how can you?"
"Oh yeah I remember I can't go on a date because I'm a fucking nerd with a high ponytail and glasses!"
"Hahahah!Who is that idiot?"
"Alex!"
"Alex Santiago????" He screamed.
"Yeah! Why anything wrong?"
"No. You're not going with that bastard"
"Hey is everything fine Tobes?" She got up from her bed.
"That bastard asked you out?"
"Yeah he did!"
He pretend to think something for sometime then said "Fine you can go but don't let that bastard touch you or I'll kill him"
"Oh my baby Tobes. Are you jealous?"
His face turned red "No.. No why would I?"
"I'm just kidding. I won't let him touch me of course. It's just a decent dinner and I'll be home by 8"
"Okay!" He said.
"Ouch Toby! You're such a douchebag!" She screamed when he squeezed her boobs.

"Because when you do these things people think we're more than just friends"
"Who cares what they think?"

"Okay your highness! I'll see ya tomorrow!" He said with a high-five on her face laughing and running out of her room.
"You'll pay for this Cavanaugh!" She said.

"I heard you're going on a date with Alex tomorrow?"

"Oh great then" She cleared her throat "oh Spencer I visited my doctor and she gave me these vitamins"
"What vitamins?"
"Just A, C etcetera"
"Oh nice mom!"
"Here I brought this for you"
"Only one vitamin mom?"
"Yeah just take it!"
"Mom! Are you okay?"
"Just take it Spencer!" She said angrily.
"Fine. Fine I'll take it!"
"Now!"
She looked at her mothers face and took the tablet.
"Happy?"
"Yes honey! Enjoy your date tomorrow!"

She went away.

*texts Toby*

Hey douchebag! Can you come over? Something's wrong with my mom.

Yeah sure I'm coming Hastings!

*reaches her house*
"Wassup everyone?" He shouted.
"Shut up mom's sleeping!"
"Ohh! You texted me! Anything wrong?"

Spencer explained the whole thing to him and in no time he was rolling on the floor laughing.

"What's so funny Cavanaugh?"
"You're mom is the cutest thing in this world!" He said laughing.
"What?"
"Oh my God Spencer! You still don't understand?"
She nodded in disagreement.
"Hahahaha Spence! She fed you a pill!"
"What pill?"
"Oh my baby nerd!" He said cupping her confused face "the pill which girls use as an alternate for condoms"
"Whatttttt?" She screamed and he got back to laughing on the floor "how can she do that?"
"She's just concerned you don't get pregnant"

"It's okay. It's just protection. She thought about you Spence. She wants you to be safe"he said.

"VITAMINS seriously?"

The next day...

Spencer showed Toby two dresses.
"Which one?"
"Neither!"
"Why? Aren't they good?"
"They're so revealing Spencer!"
"No they're not!...never mind I'll wear the black one"
"He'll drool over you!"
"I won't let him Toby. Don't worry"
"He's an asshole Spencer. He uses girls. I know its your first date and you're excited but-"
"Toby. I'm gonna be fine" She whispered.
