"D-do you have a boyfriend?" he asked checking her out with his perv eyes, examining her body from head to toe, without letting her notice.

"Well no! but I had one a long time ago" she replied smiling, putting the toast in the toaster. "How about you?" she asked. "How'd you meet Caleb?" she asked intrigued.

"Ahumm...Caleb?" he said trying to make up a lie.

"Hmm?" she squealed spreading butter.

"W-we were r-roommates" he lied plastering a smile on his face, putting his head down and thinking that next time it'll require some homework because she asks a lot of questions.

"Cute" she whispered putting a plate in front of him as he smiled.

"Oh no!" Veronica said walking in from behind, interrupting the moment. "Did you just gave him the keys?" she spat looking at her daughter furiously.

"Yeah so what?" she said frowning. 

"You know Spencer your father is..-"

"A homophobic?" she spat, interrupting her.

"Respect Spencer! He's your dad"

"Okay..! Well Toby..My father is a respected homophobic and he won't approve you and Caleb living together in our barn" she said looking at her mother who was wide eyed.

"Uh..oh!" he sighed thinking what he has gotten himself into.

"But you know what Toby?" she  said taking his hand. "You guys can stay! because the barn is mine and I love you two as a couple" she smiled at him and at the same time he was screaming inside because of the lies he told and now they're actually buckling up to come and bite him in the ass.

"But honey!..-"

"Mom! It isn't a shameful thing that Toby and Caleb are so in love" she spat again looking her mother in the eyes while Toby choked on his drink.

"Are you okay?" she asked patting him on the back and he nodded. "And if you're worried about dad? He'll just create a scene for some days but at the end he has to accept it!" she said looking down. "Because in the end! Love always wins" her eyes pictured a scene of pain and hurt and her mother knew it. She knew that Spencer was still broken and she's just recreating her moments of joy by looking at the kindling of two hearts.

So..! This is just a teaser for a Spoby new story I'll be starting in some time..a month or so! and I wanted to update you guys that I'll be off for some days because I need a break. I started posting so much like twice or thrice in a day and I'm tired. I'll be back in a few days. Love you all.
