Chapter 41

Jungkook's POV
We were walking through the woods, hand-in-hands as we let the fresh oxygen flow through our nostrils.

Surrounded by greens, flowers, animals, nature.
How refreshing would that be? Away from the city.

"Oh! Let's sit there, Jungkook!"

Seoyeon pointed to a small waterfall and a calm river. There was rocks everywhere so we sat on one of the rocks.

Then, she took out her shoes and dipped her legs into the clear river, wiggling her feet cutely.

"What did you wanted to talk about?"
I spoke up, getting Seoyeon's attention.

Her lips slowly parted as she hesitated.
"Uhm.. Its a-about-"

"Hye Mi?"

"Yeah.. Hye Mi.."

She chuckled nervously, scratching the back of her neck.

"What about her? Tell me."
I swung my arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to me.

Seoyeon took care of me.. Seoyeon helped me survive.. Seoyeon was always there for me..

'Seoyeon is my everything now...'

"You should g-go back to her.. I mean, she is your girlfriend after all. You shouldn't leave her alone and you should probably return back to the city.."
She let out, looking down to the ground.

My heart dropped at that.. She knows how important she is in my life and now what is she trying to do? To chase me away? Why?

She started to shake, she was indeed nervous since she was also playing with her fingers.

Sighing, I wrapped my hand around her shaky fingers, holding it tightly.

"I'm not going anywhere. Even if I'm going, I'll take you with me. I'll let you have a better life, a better future, and better memories. I promise."

I linked my pinky finger with her's, but her face didn't lit up at all.

"I don't want you to go too.. But you should. I'm saying this for your own sake, for your future. I don't want you to live here in the forest where you have no future.."

She said softly and continued-

"Since Hye Mi's leg is recovering fast. She can leave today or tomorrow. So let's get home now and I'll help you pack your stuff."

She stood up and was about to walk away but I held onto her wrist, standing up as well.

"Im Seoyeon!"
I raised up my voice uncontrollably.

"You made love with her! I bet you fucked her good! So just go back to her already!"

"Seoyeon, I was just using her because I was thirsty, I didn't wanted to hurt you! So please fucking listen to me before I loose myself!"

She flinched a little. Fear was visible in her sparkling black eyes.

I suddenly got lost.. Lost in her eyes.. Her eyes were like wolves.

It was quiet until she yanked her hand out of my grip, turning around.

"Let's go home..."

Hye Mi's POV
"Where did they go? What is taking them so damn long?.."
I muttered to myself as I was deep in my thoughts on the couch.

Just then, the door creaked opened, revealing the two person who I was expecting.

Seoyeon came in first. She smiled at me and went straight into her room, slamming the door shut.
