"Trudy you're peanut butter cookies are amazing but I need more!" Alfie shouted excitedly
"Haven't you got enough sugary things on your plate?" Trudy asked
"What? You can never have too much sugar."
"How much do your parents have to pay when you go to the dentist?"
"Don't ask me, but they stopped giving me lolly pops when I was five because apparently I'm always on something called a sugar overload...whatever that is."
"Morning Trudy. Any breakfast for us?" Eddie asked coming in with Mick and Fabian
"Who's this?" Mick asked sitting next to Ruby
"Not Mara." she replied
"Feisty, I was only trying to be nice."
"It's my birthday!!" Amber stated running down the stairs
"I thought your birthday was the day after we got here?" KT asked
"It was but daddy said I had to move it because of budget cuts."
"You can't move the day of-" KT started
She doesn't need to know that." I whispered "Happy birthday Ambz." I said louder
"Morning yacker." Eddie said pulling my chair out
"Weasel face." I said going to sit at the opposite side of the table
"So Jerome, I noticed you and Alfie are signed up for the talent show. What are you going to do?" Trudy asked setting down more food, far away from Alfie
"It's a surprise."
"I look forward to it, I've reserved a place in the front row."
"Yippee! My Alfie's going to win!" Willow squeaked
"Your Alfie?" uh oh Amber was getting jealous
"Thanks Willow." Alfie said tucking into the sugar puffs and ignoring Ambers death glares
"So what's the graduation committee doing today?" Dylan asked, I had no idea what he was on about until Ruby mouthed Sibuna at us
"We have the day off." I said
"Joy, Nina, Amber and I are having a girls night, in the attic to make it scary." Ruby said
"Alfie and I are researching in the Frobisher library." Fabian told him
"I'm teaching Jerome some manners." KT added
"Good luck with that." Poppy mumbled
"So Eddie has time to spend with me." Lucy said pouring herself more orange juice
Yay, then I don't have to do anything and can go with KT and Jerome to the cellar
"Sorry Luce, I need to do research." Eddie told her

"Come on let's get to school." Mara said grabbing her bag, we all followed after her.
*During lunch*
"Okay Trix, there's Eddie," Joy said pointing to my annoyingly patronizing boyfriend "You're not just doing this for Sibuna, you're doing it for the sisterhood."
"Yeah,yeah. Lets just get this over and done with."
"Oh, and try to sound upbeat, maybe a smile wouldn't hurt." KT added
"Yes, mum." I replied sarcastically
"Yep, completely the opposite of Piper." Joy said
"Oh don't bring her up."
