House of Sibuna

It was finally the weekend, I'd become quite good friends with Patricia after a prank we pulled on Eddie.

I was sitting in her room on Joy's bed.

"So what's your deal with Eddie?"

"Slimeball? Believe me we hated each other before."

"I find it easy to believe, so how did you get together?"

"I have no idea, but apparently I'm his everything. It's weird."

"Isn't everything?"

"I guess." Patricia's phone beeped, she picked it up then sighed "It's weasel, I need to go somewhere and talk to him."

"Okay, I'm going to the family room."

"Okay, I promise we'll talk more at lunch."

"It's fine." we walked downstairs into the hallway, I waved goodbye to Patricia as she left the house

Jerome poked his head round the door to the family room "Sibuna business?"

"Huh?"

Jerome laughed "She hasn't even told you about Sibuna." he said coming in and putting an arm round me "You see, dear Patty cake and Fabes,Alfie, Eddie and KT have a little secret group that go and do god knows what."

"How do you know this?"

"Alfie talks in his sleep, and I've been involved with a lot of the mysteries."

"Why aren't you in the group then? You are Alfie's best friend."

"True, but not many people trust me as I may have teamed up with the bad guy a few years ago."

"Then what are we waiting for?"

"Excuse me?"

"Lets go see what Sibuna is all about."

"I like you." Jerome said smiling

"Good, because if we're going to find out what they're hiding we're going to be working together a lot."

"Why don't we just start our own secret society?"

"Because Sibuna sounds fun. Although us two can have our little group until we get into Sibuna."

"Us in Sibuna, sounds awesome."

"Jerome, I came here to stop an evil, believe it or not my dead sister sent me here to save the world."

"I believe you."

"But it's true I- whoa wait what?"

"I believe you. I've heard a lot of crazy things about Sibuna and when I met you I knew you were special."

"You're smarter than you make yourself out to be."

"Thanks, now let's go spy on Sibuna."

I took his hand "Rome."

"Rome? You're really from Rome?"

"No I just put our names together, I'll try and think of something better."

"Okay, but Rome is cool." he said squeezing my hand.

We walked out the front doors and walked towards the woods,hiding behind bushes and walls if we heard footsteps, following Patricia's trail.

"Stop!" Jerome whispered

I peered through the bush we were hiding behind, there was a clearing and everyone who Jerome had mentioned were standing in a circle.
