We Are Giants

Chapter 4

(A/N sorry I haven't updated in such a long time, but school has been driving me insane and our wifi is down. Also, I forgot to say that I don't know if any of the town or city names are names of actual city's)

Double-x led us all down a maze of doors and hallways. "I never noticed how big this place is. How can you keep track of where you are going?" I said/asked "Actually...We don't." Olympia says sheepishly as she hands me back Sticky, who I put back on my necklace. "What do you mean?" I asked puzzled. "She means Double-x had all of the staff put maps up in, pretty much, every room." Felix says, after that everyone goes quiet. I just now notice everyone's clothes and features. Felix has short red hair, lively blue hues, muscular arms, and a toned chest. Felix was wearing just a simple blue shirt, jeans and tennis shoes. Olympia has long red hair put into a ponytail, and sparkling purple eyes. She was wearing a purple crop top, skinny jeans, tennis shoes, I also noticed she had cute cat earrings on. Zara has short, curly black hair, and crystal blue eyes. She was wearing a skin tight jade green shirt, knee length shorts and lace up combat boots like me. Zara also had a gold locket around her neck and green diamond earrings. Hiro has shaggy blonde hair, and orange eyes, he was muscular but not as much as Felix. He has on an orange t-shirt, a denim vest, jeans, and tennis shoes. Double-x has shaggy, light brown hair. He was wearing a business suit and dress shoes.

After a while, we make it to the training room. It was Huge . It has black mats covering the floor, punching bags, weights and exercising machines. I smile "This place is glorious..." I trail off running, to the back of the room, over to a punching bag. "But it's not big enough." I say my smile faltering. Everyone looks at me with a surprised expression except Double-x. "What are you talking about? This place is huge." Says Hiro. "It is... but it's not big enough for me to show you my full strength." I say, everyone sighs. "Well then, let's go outside." Suggests Olympia, smiling. My smile returns "let's do it." I state laughing as I run to the window. Yes, the window. Once I get to the window, I don't stop. I jump and flip out of the window. "JACKAYLA!!!" Yells Zara, but I just keep laughing with a giant smile on my face. "NEARION!" I yell. A few seconds later, I land on the back of a giant, red hawk. I look back at the window and see everyone with the same expressions they had earlier, even Double-x. My smile grows wider "you guys need to smile more, well, except for Olympia. Anyway, get on." I say as I steer Nearion to the window. Everyone is a bit hesitant at first, but I give them a reassuring smile. Hiro gets in back of me, then it goes Felix, Zara, Olympia, and Double-x just decides to take the elevator. "Awe yeah, I get to sit in back of the beautiful lady!" Exclaims Hiro, I roll my eyes at this but keep smiling.Once everyone is on, I look at my surroundings and decide to go to the beach. I smirk "hold on guys!" I exclaims over the wind. The second I say that, I feel two hands sneak around my waist. "Hiro, I know I said to hold on, but loosen your grip will you?" I ask the man behind me. He loosens his grip and I put Nearion in a nose dive. Everyone starts screaming or yelling 'no', I just smirk. When we come close to the ground, I pull up to make us go straight. We fly quickly towards the ocean dodging buildings and cars. "WOOHOO!!!" I hear Zara yell. "Ha, Zara I thought you would be the one who would hate this." I tell her looking back "Are you kidding me? I LOVE hights." She yells back with a huge smile. I just noticed. I've never seen Zara smile until now I think as I look at her. Everyone else has a terrified expression. After about two minutes, we make it to the beautiful sandy beach. I help everyone off and Nearion fades away. "Why'd you bring us here?" Asks Felix. "Because I need the ocean for Raquious." I say in an 'obviously' tone. They all give me a questioning glance "He's a... Eh, I'm just gonna' show you. Stay here." I say. I jog over to the water, take off my backpack and shoes then dive in. In the water I summon Raquious, a giant red outlined shark. I get inside of my friend and I swim to the surface. I do flips and spins. I go back under and swim around, suddenly, I see a shadow. Then feel a hand on my skin, Raquious starts to fade away. What the kale? I think trying to resummon him. It was no use, and that wasn't the worsted part. The worst part part is that I don't know how to swim. I try to swim to the surface but am unable to. I let the air out of my lungs, and start to see black spots in front of my eyes as I slowly lose consciousness.

(No one's POV)

"You think she's okay?" Olympia asks her older brother looking worried. "I'm sure she's fine." He respond not taking his eyes off of the water. Just then Double-x pulls up in a limo, he gets out and stands by the others. Bubbles suddenly surface, and Everyone's blood runs cold. Felix jumps into the water without hesitation, grabs Jack and resurfaces. He takes in a big gulp of air and looks at Jack, she wasn't breathing. He panics and starts to do CPR on her as everyone stares in shock. Hiro was the first to recover "I'll do mouth to mouth." He says, he plugs her nose and opens her mouth. Hiro goes to give her mouth to mouth, Suddenly, Jack sits up and coughs out water onto the sand. "Yay, your not dead!" Exclaims Olympia as she gives her a hug "I guess the fear of Hiro kissing her brought her hack to life." Felix says laughing, Hiro glares at him "well, I bet if you were going to do it, she would have nightmares for a month." Hiro counters, they both keep throwing insults at each other. Meanwhile, Double-x and the girls start interrogating Jack.
(Jack's POV)
"Before you were only able to use two forms before passing out, how come your still conscious?" Double-x asks with a stern expression. "Well, the first one I only rode on him which doesn't take as much energy as the second one because her moves freely. As when I actually travel or fight while using them as my armor I have to control them which takes a lot more energy. Does that make sense?" I say/ask "yeah." He responds "anyway, what happened down there?" Asks Zara after helping me up. "Were you attacked?" Olympia adds, I shake my head no. "It was more like someone touched me and made my ability not work." I say confused. "On the other hand, how did you know where we were and that I used another form?" I ask Double-x, I look at him only to see that he is lost in thought. "Hey, Double-x." I say waving a hand in front of his face "sorry, what?" He asks "I said 'how did you know we were here and that I used another form'." I state "well, it's kind of hard to not notice a giant red hawk flying to the beach. And I put a camera on your backpack." He states calmly seemingly still in thought. "WHAT!" I yell as I run over to my backpack, look for the tracker, rip it off and throw it in the water. "NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER, track me." I say with a dark expression, he nods. The boys walk over to us still arguing. "Girls, girls your both pretty now be quiet." I say smirking "actually we were arguing about who you like better, me or Felix?" Hiro states/says "Felix." I state simply without hesitation. "What? Why?" He asks surprised, while Felix smirks "Because he didn't try to kiss me." I say flicking his forehead. "Ow! I was trying to save you." He says rubbing his forehead. "Please, we all know you would have just kissed me." I say turning around, before he can respond I summon Calshevar, a red outlined tiger/cheetah, jump on her back and start heading towards the Sunny Days apartment building. Then I remembered, I don't know where that is. Well, time to ask around.
