Naruto Oneshot Book!

Kakashi x F! Reader

     "(F/n)-Sensei!"

     I turned my head to see who was calling me and it turned out to be Kurama's Jinchuuriki, Naruto Uzumaki. "What is it, Naruto?" I asked the blond, pausing my training session. I may be a Jonin but that doesn't mean I get to kick back and relax.

     The knucklehead, -who has matured over the few years- grinned. He had snow in his hair and on his clothes, and his cheeks tinted red from the cold. "How would you like to come to a Christmas party Sakura and I have planned?"

     I huff and continue training. It may be snowing but I can feel the sweat running down my face and body. Hell, I wasn't even wearing my Jonin vest. I adjusted my happuri-style forehead protector that frames my face. (the one like Yamato's)

     "You know I don't like parties, Naruto."

     The young shinobi pouted and flailed his arms. "Aw, c'mon (F/n)-Sensei! You gotta come! Please? Everyone will be there!" At this point, Naruto gave me a nudge on the side with his elbow, "Kakashi Sensei will be there!"

     I once again stopped my training session and lowered my arm that was about to throw a small shuriken. I was glad I had my back turned to him because I felt my cheeks heat up with a slight blush. The young man must know I like the copy ninja...

     "So what if Kakashi is there?" I inquired, "it's not like I like him or anything.", I lied to the blond. He huffed and crossed his arms, a knowing look on his face." You don't gotta lie (F/n)," he whispered, "I know you like Kakashi Sensei."

     I grumbled and turned to look at him, my (e/c) eyes glaring into his cerulean ones. His own widened and he stiffened in his spot. I don't have a stare like Tenzo but I can level with him you know!

     "I-if you go I-I promise I won't tell a single soul!" He pleaded, honesty flaming in those promising eyes.

     "Fine. I will go to your party, Naruto. But," I warned him as I darkened my glare, "if you tell anyone I have a crush on Kakashi, I will make sure you won't ever have kids."

     "(F/n) likes Kakashi Sensei?"

     We both turned our heads to find Sakura and Tenten standing there with smirks on their faces. I glared at them both, which made their cocky like features fall. "I already told Naruto that I'd go to his party, so you two better keep your mouths quiet about this. It's our little secret."

     "Deal!"

     "Guess who we got to come!" Naruto chirped as he burst through the door. I was behind him with Sakura and Tenten behind me. I trudged and grumbled for the umpteenth time since we made our way here. I wasn't dressed in fancy attire like normal Christmas parties, but it seems like no one else did so I'm relieved. I heard whispers and comments; everyone began muttering among themselves and staring.

     I was actually dressed in cosy pants along with a pair of slip-on shoes. I wore a net shirt with a warm, fuzzy jacket. I also wore a light scarf to complete the outfit. Hey, at least I looked presentable.

     "Good job you three, you actually got her to come to a social event, even more surprising a party."

     I turned my head to see Kakashi praising Naruto and the two girls who only smiled and nodded their head. I yelped as someone slapped my back, "c'mon (F/n) Sensei! Try to enjoy yourself for once! I mean, it is nearing Christmas."

     I forced a smile for Kiba since he was the one who approached. "Alright alright Kiba, I'll try."Once Kiba left me alone, I immediately secluded myself in the farthest corner. I sighed in content as I looked out the nearby window. Everything was covered with a thick layer of snow.

     "Might as well call it the Village Hidden in the Snow, huh (F/n)?"

     I hummed in response as Kakashi approached me. "What are you doing over here all alone? It's a party, you should enjoy yourself a bit more."

     "You already know I don't like parties, Hatake."

     "Don't have to get so snappy at me, (F/n)." The copy ninja said as he frowned at me. I sighed quietly before apologising. "What's on your mind Kakashi?"

     The son of the White Fang sheepishly scratched the back of his neck. "The woman I've had my eye on for a while now."

I felt my heart break. Has he a crush on someone? Was it me or someone else? I got to dig out answers...

     "Yeah? What's she like?" I asked, smiling a bit. "Well," he started, "she's very beautiful and has much skill." So she's a shinobi...

     "She's also very kind to her friends. Oh!" He piped, walking closer to me and trapping me in the corner. I felt the blood rise to my cheeks and I looked away. "Here's a little secret. She actually likes me back, so I'll actually be asking her out for a date in a short while."

     I felt my heart break even further. This is why I didn't like parties. I was always dumped or rejected by my crushes. "Well, what are you waiting for?!" I snapped at him, trying to quickly get out of this situation.

     He only chuckled and pressed me against the wall. I was happy everyone else was occupied by something or someone.

     "Alright alright. (F/n), will you go out with me?"

      I stared up at him in shock. Slowly but surely I nodded my head and threw my arms around him. "Of course Kakashi! But, wait, how did you know I like you?"

     "You can't hide it, (F/n), it's been obvious since the very beginning. You're quite easy to read despite your tough demeanour."

     I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

      "Anyway," he murmured, slowly pulling down his mask. Before I could gasp he captured my lips with his in a heated yet passionate kiss. Alas, it was all too soon that he pulled away and returned his mask back to its' usual position over his face.

      My blush deepened when he chuckled. He pointed up at the mistletoe, which explains why he kissed me so soon.

      "When it comes to me, you get flustered so easily," he whispered in my ear. I giggled and pecked his masked lips. "Let's get out of here shall we?"

      He nodded his head and smiled, grabbing my hand and leading me towards the door. Man, I know this is cliche, but I think I just fell for Kakashi Hatake even more."
