3 - A visit to Oberoi Mansion

Ummm , who's the one and why he's doing this is not important at the instant . What important is his or her next step ! Exclaimed Aira. If he or she is really to ruin this marriage, then the person has to go through us .....hhuhhh.....which is very difficult . She continued with a weird smile .
Will you stop it now ! Exclaimed Sanaya. This lady detective will start every where ! She continued . I guess we should drop the topic now . Let us take how it comes . According to me, let's start with preparations . Said Sanaya .
I am going at marriage palace for some arrangements . Anyone will accompany me ? Asked Shayan.
Of course, we all will . Said the sisters together. It will be adventurous....said Sanaya smiling mockingly.
Huhhh! Exclaimed Fawad sighing at Sanaya . Well guys , you continue ...I will stay here....said Fawad yawning.
Look at your face .....said Sanaya with a giggle . You are accompanying us, you coward . Ordered Sanaya.
Ha ha ha. It was lame ! Exclaimed Fawad . I am not coward , got you ?
Stop fighting like cats . Said Aira.
OK , listen guys , in a day or two guests will arive and still the mansion rooms are not ready . So let's rush! . Said Shayan.
The four went for marriage palace.
It was almost 8'o clock when they reached the palace , the Oberoi Mansion.
It was a dark and cloudy night . The moon rested in the laps of the clouds . The palace was surrounded by numerous trees , which served a home for many bats making weired noise . The palace was enormously huge! It was painted green and dark brown , but due to extreme darkness , everything was blurr, everything looked black . All the windows of the palace were enclosed by curtains . And what else to say , it gave the palace a haunted look, really a haunted one . There was a silence for few minutes.
Isn't it very dark here? No lights ? Asked Sanaya.
Everyone there was amazed to see the hauntiness of the palace . But no one expressed because it could hurt Shayan .
It just took a minute for Shayan to nail the group's expressions. Sensing them he said.....
The place looks beautiful with lights , trust me . The morning before when I saw this place , I was amazed with its beauty . I think we should go in . Lots of preparations to do .
Shayan rang the bell beside a huge wooden door , at the entrance of the palace . The door was huge , dark brown in colour , with golden designs of intricate pattern inscribed on it which shone brightly in an extremely dark background. A voice saying who's there now ? Huhhh .... could be heard from inside . After a few minutes, the door opened with a creeping sound , and suddenly a dark face peeped out of the half opened door .
Aaahh! Exclaimed Fawad . A ghost , a ghost here ! Run . Run everyone to save our lives ! He continued.
The door now opened completely. Fawad took Shayan's hand and hold it tightly. An extremely long man , with a dark complexion, which looked almost like a ghost, Because everything was blurr , the person's face was not clearly visible due to all dark inside and outside .
Kids ! At this time ! Said the man standing at the door looking at his watch .
Now , what on earth made you to come here and at this time ! Exclaimed the tall man . Don't you know this place can be dangerous for you ? This is exactly why I hate kids ! He continued.
The four stared at the man standing in front of them frowning. There was a silence for a few minutes. Then finally, gathering courage Aira said
Who are you ?
Who I am is not important, what important is that you shouldn't be here now ! So just leave ! Exclaimed the man in a rude , harsh voice.
We are here for marriage preparations. Let us in . Said Shayan with his goosebumps swinging over his hands in cold breeze .
What ? Said the man . Ha ha ha . Marriage here ? Tragedy, tragedy is the only thing that can happen here . Mark my words ! Exclaimed the man . Consider me as your wellwisher and change the plans . Saying this , the man went to move out from the palace and soon move out of the sight.
Oh shit man ! Didn't even got a chance to get a glimpse of his face ! Exclaimed Aira. Why the hell the lights are off ? She continued by placing her hands on her forehead .
Now what ? Asked Sanaya to the group.
Let's first get inside , said Shayan with a sigh .
Unwilling, gathering courage the group went inside.
First let me get the lights on , said Shayan searching for switch box with the help of the flashlight in his mobile .
Hmm , said Shayan with a sigh . Finally got it .
The lights opened , finally ! Everyone was staring at each other's face and then at the palace . For a few minutes , everyone forgot about all that happened and were amazed to see the beauty of the palace.
The palace was beautiful from inside . Well furnished, clean and yes very, very huge . There was a big chandelier hanging exactly in the middle of the hall . The walls were painted light pink and the ceilings were painted white . There was a beautiful silk carpet , red coloured spread all over . Around it were arranged the wooden sofas
which perfectly matched the with the surrounding.
I guess he was the caretaker. Said Aira.
Nope , said Shayan . This stranger was not the caretaker. He continued.
Mr Shaam . Are you there ? Exclaimed Shayan . I want you here , right now ! Shouted Shayan loudly breaking the silence of the palace.
The sound of someone coming down stairs could be heard after a few minutes and a man of average height, healthy enough and with a fair complexion appeared in front of the four .
So , you are here ? Said the man who now came down in the hall. I was waiting for you . He continued.
So guys , he's Mr Shaam, the caretaker. Said Shayan introducing the man to the group.
Who was that man Mr. Shaam? Asked Shayan .
Which man ? Was someone here ? Replied the caretaker.
How careless ! Don't you know who was here? Asked Sanaya.
I must say no one was here other than us . Replied the caretaker. I was waiting for you after your call sir . Just 5-10 mins before I went up for giving Mr.Oberoi his medicines. And then, I heard you shouting. He continued.
When we arrived here , a stranger opened the door and do you have any idea about what he did ? Said Fawad angrily and yes after a long time his voice could be heard.
He threatened us, he scared the shit out of us and you are saying no one was here ? Fawad continued.
What ? Asked the caretaker. A stranger opened the door ? But how ? I was in the house itself . No one was here . I was expecting your arrival . Replied the caretaker . It must be your hallucination .
What do you mean to say ? We four experienced the same hallucination? Asked Aira. Oh come on , stop all this and speak the truth ! Ordered Aira.
Trust me mam ! No one was here ! I am not lying . Said the caretaker.
If no one was here , then who was that man? Asked Sanaya. Was it just our hallucination ? Because, admit it or not, everyone had a kind of fear some where in our hearts because of which..........Sanaya continued when suddenly a sharp , loud voice echoed in the palace .
Aaaaaaahhhhh! Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!
Oh my God! Exclaimed Fawad. What's this now . He continued placing his hands on his ears .
