Why Do You Call Me “Lord, Lord?”
Jesus is the author of our life.
Luke 6:46-49
46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”
Are you willing to practice the word of GOD?
“Why do you call me Lord, Lord and yet you don’t do what I Say?”
So if you call the Lord, Lord you must be follows his commandments and his words.
Minsan talaga hindi natin maiwasan na magkasala. Pero kailangan natin pilitin sa sarili natin na sundin ang kanyang mga utos. Sabi nila masarap daw ang bawal, pero di’ba mas masarap naman gawin kung ano ang tama.
Matthew 7:21

Practice of Obedience
Pinabili ka ng patis. Pero ang ginawa mo ay naghain ka nang pagkain sa hapagkainan.
Gumawa ka man ng mabuti pero hindi mo naman sinunod ang inuutos sa’yo na bumili ng Patis. We are not saved by our good works.

*Nagsisimba ka dahil naa-appreciate mo si GOD.
*Naniniwala ka sa kanya
*You are a follower of GOD because you obey his commands

Romans 7:18-19
18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[a] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.
Titus 2:7-11
7 And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. 8 Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.
9 Slaves must always obey their masters and do their best to please them. They must not talk back10 or steal, but must show themselves to be entirely trustworthy and good. Then they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive in every way.
11 For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.
Tayo ang baso at si Jesus ang tubig.
Kaya kung walang tubig, wala tayo. So it means na without Jesus, wala rin tayo.
