(Let Us) Encourage One Another
Culture pessimism- Ito yung yung culture na nag di-discourage.
“Masyadong mahirap yun course na yun!”What if nagtanong ka lang kung ano meron sa course na yun and then ganyan ang isasagot sa’yo. Nakaka discourage di’ba? Parang ayaw mo na tuloy.
Naghahanap ka ng damit at sasabihin sa’yo “Dun po ang Kids section,”Aruy ang sakit naman.
Lahat naman tayo nakakaranas ng Discouragement.
Four reasons of discouragement:
1. Fatigue-Pagod, either physically or emotionally. Stress pag may babayaran na matrikula tapos biglang magkakasakit, tuloy hindi nakapagbayad ng matrikula. Nadidiscourage tuloy mag-aral.
2. Fear- Fear of rejection. Halimbawa gustong manligaw ng isang lalaki kaso natatakot siya ma-reject. Nadi-discouarge tuloy.
3. Frustation- Meron kang ginawa pero hindi na-acknowledge. Halimbawa nagp-pray ka para sa pinsan mo na makilala sana ng pinsan mo si Jesus Christ pero hindi pa rin nangyayari. Nagiging impatient tayo at kung minsan ay matatanong si Lord “Lord, naririnig mo ba kami?” Di’ba nga dapat hindi natin dapat i-question si Lord.
4.Failure- Bumagsak ka lang sa isang subject pero parang pinanghihinaan ka na ng loob.
Two sources of Discouragement:
1. Sin- Hindi mo nakikita yung mga blessings ni Lord sa’yo. Naghahanap ka pa ng blessings pero binabalewa mo ang mga blessings na binibigay sa’yo.
*Sin disconnect you from GOD
2. Self-centeredness- Ako at ako lang. Everything revolves around me. Kapakanan mo lang ang iniisip mo.
*Self-Centeredness disconnects you from people.
Hebrews 10:19-25
A Call to Persevere in Faith
19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
1. Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings
Pray with sincere hearts. No plan B.-Kapag hindi dininig ni God ang pray ko ganito ang gagawin ko. Wala dapat plan B.

*Naririnig niya tayo
2. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
*Nasa bible ang mga promises niya.
3. Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
*Encourage one another.
Most Holy place is the place of God.
