"The Fall" - The Divine War Trilogy (Book 1)

:The Story of Creation:

     In the beginning of our time, there were only two beings in all of existence. They were twins, one named God, the other Satan. Through them the power bestowed by there father was that of Chaos and Order, Light and Dark, Creation and Destruction, Good and Evil.

     No one knows except these two entities which came before, or on what came after, but during some time they created all that of which we know. They started with the Heavens, Stars of Light and Energy to light up the darkness that surrounded them, along with planets and many other wonders to their abilities to combine both of their gifts so that the universe remained in harmony.

     Then they created their realms in which one would reside. God created Heaven, a Divine Kingdom of Light, Creation, and Good. Satan created Hell, a Divine Kingdom of Darkness, Destruction, and Evil. There they would reside and prosper and not interfere with the other to upset the balance.

     To Keep the Balance both siblings created seven beings each to be the epitimy of their gifts. God created the first of the Angels, the Archangels and bestowed upon them very porpose of the powers God had equelly among them so that there was Order in Heaven and everyone would be equel and know their place.

     Satan created the first of the Demons, the Devils and bestowed upon them the very powers Satan had, but none were equel for some were stronger than the other to create strife so Chaos was in Hell and anyone could rise to higher power.

     Through this the very balance was kept and this was good to the two siblings. God created more Angels and Satan created more Demons to reside in their Kingdoms equally. With this they turned to the Universe they had created for they now had a new goal upon them that only they knew on why it was needed to be created.

     They found a planet in one of their many stars and many galaxies, and began to create the very world we know today. They started with the Oceans, for water would be the very catalyst and symbol of both their powers combined to not only create but to also destroy. When this was done they set out to make mortal creatures that would reside inside the Oceans of many different shapes and formes that would one day all would come from.

     Next came the Land, with volcanoes errupting and shaking the very planet to make the planets crust generate from deep below the waters of the world and push forth towards the very heavens themselves. Then came the trees and the plants that would grow not only on land but push deep below the ocean as well.

     Then from some of the sea creatures they had made they made unto land and urged them to grow and change as was needed so that new creations would be made and destroyed without them needing to intervene. With this creation however they drew the attention of an unwanted guest from someone from before.

     With creating all these things that were mortal, there was no true death, any creature destroyed would just spring back up shortly after dieing and resume to grow, which slowly started to make the creatures of this planet grow large and too numerous. Plants that were destroyed would also just spring back forth and soon there was very little room to move for the creatures of both the land and the sea.

     This is what caught the attention of a being that was from before. The Siblings were greeted by an old face they had not seen in some time. It was their Father's brother Time. Time saw his brother's childrens dilema and gave them a solution. To allow his power to flow forth unto their realm of this universe. This would allow the creatures to die both plant and mortal alike naturally and to allow time for others to grow and survive, but with allowing time to come to their universe, there would need to be a sacrifice.

     The Siblings saw the dilema in which their creations were in and to save them, they agreed to allow Time into their Universe and to apply his machinations to their creations so that all of them might live in happiness. But this was merely a ruse Time had put up on their end. He brought time to the Universe but the Sacrafice the Twins had made was that of most of all the life that was on their planet. With time entering the world and almost all its life was destroyed leaving an almost barren wasteland.
