Beep, beep, beep. The Alarm next to Sarah's bed was going off annoyingly to awaken the sumbering seventeen year old out of her bed telling her it was time to go to school once again. She grumbled as she pulled her facedown head out of her pillow only to briefly look at the time through groggy eyes and slap the button on the top of the beep-machine. "Five more minutes" she grumbled sleepily before another alarm that was across the room started going off immidetly as well to get her out of her twin bed and comfy tan and brown blankets and sheets.

Annoyed at her own preperations for puntuality she rolled out of bed slowly grumbling about the stupid noise box for being inconsiderate of her sleepiness. She wasn't normally like this, she was normally usually up before both alarms go off but she was up late last night studying for the test today in her math class and didn't go to bed till one in the morning. And to have to get up at five was just murder to her right now.

She strolled over to the other alarm acorss the room sitting on her desk, turned it off, and went about gathering her clothes for school and doing her morning stretches. After that she went into the bathroom that was just across the hallway from her and got herself ready for the day with showering and brushing her teeth.

Looking into the mirror she put her contact lenzes onto her Deep Green Eyes, and pulled up her long Dark Brown hair into a simple pomytail and called it good after applying some simple makeup on her face before heading down the stairs to make herself some breakfast.

Upon reaching the bottom step with a small jump to entertain herself she gazed around the grey light that seeped from the windows as the morning was still it seems trying to wake up itself. She flippped on the Telivision to the weather channel turning it up full blast to be able to hear it in the kitchen. Normal families would not do this out of respect or fear for waking up the rest of the household but she didn't have to worry about that. She was an only child and her parents were constantly out of town working.

She started to make herself a simple breakfast of eggs and toast whilst listning to the weather forcast for today. It had been raining a lot the last few days and it seemed that it would be the same today as well. She normally loved the rain but this rain was different the last few days. It seemed almost molevolent and angry as if it was trying to destroy the city itself. She did a simple sigh at the thought of more of the Angry Rain as she ate her breakfast and then headed out for school.

As she pulled out her umbrella the rain was already coming down hard as if it hadn't stopped raining all night. The streets on her block her wet and the gutters were flooding a bit from all the constant rain. She made a mental note to try and avoid the sides of the walk with the most pot holes in the road on the way to school so she wouldn't get spashed by the cold rain water all over the streets.

It is a simple trip to get to school only taking her twenty minutes to get to her school in the city. A quick jaunt to the track station, ride it down a few stops, and then another quick jaunt till she reached her school. upon reaching her school she looked it up and down for the thousandth time. A red bricked building with high windows and high cealings on the first floor with three more floors above that, it being just a simple squared building. St. Clementines High School  was a Public school that was once ran by Nuns of the Church until the City bought it and a lot fo the rules changing. From what she had heard ten years ago the children that went here had to wear a uniform, a ghastly thought in her mind as she adjusted her Pink T-Shirt she was wearing along with her jean pants and pink tennis shoes.

She walked into the building heading straight for the library to wait for a few of her friends before class started. The white halls looked a but eerie form the school lights mixing with the rain light from outside to make everything seem a bit grey and lifeless. Great, she thinks to herself when walking, as if this place  needed to look more glum and depressing, now it has to look creepy?

She makes it to the school library and goes about her day going from class to class. Talking to her friends here and there and sitting with them during lunch listning to them talk about the boys in school, latest gossip, what they watched on T.V last night, etc. She just listened though unless spoken to directly and even then only giving vague answers or the basic overview on what she did. She didn't find the boy talk to interesting to her since there were no boys in school that caught her eye. She viewed them as dumb boys being boys type stuff and never cared for gossip anyways because it normally just strayed from the truth to begin with.

Her last class was the one with the test, and as the day went on she noted on how the storm seemed to be getting worse outside and thunder could be heard now, shaking the windows and vibrating the floors when it struck. This scared her for even though she loved the rain, she hated thunder. The sound and the sight frightened her terribly and it took all she had not to show it in school and to let out a scream every time she heard and felt it outside.

As she was getting her books from her locker though for her last class the intercom came on giving a notice. "To all students, the remainder of you classes and club activities have been cancelled effective immidietly. All students are advised to head straight home for a Storm and Flood Warning has been issued, please gather your things and head home immidietly" was all it said and kept repeating with the school giving off the storm alarm. Some students shouted with glee and booked it outside to head home while others could be heard complaining of having to walk home in the rain. Sarah was one of the latter students and grabbed her stuff and headed out.

She didn't have any plans though of going straight home though, she needed to stop by the store nearby to pick up some groceries for dinner tonight so she headed down the road to the store on the way home near her house. The train was a bit more cramped not only because of all the students but it seems some of the other businesses were being closed down as well. upon getting off the cramped train Sarah also started to hear some other noises off in the distance as well, sirens from what it seems all emergency vehicles. Is the Storm really that bad she thinks to herself as she starts to pick up the pace to the grocery store.

The wind around her has really picked up and she started to find holding on to the umbrella she carried harder and harder to hold and cursing herself for not grabbing her jacket before leaving the house. The wind was already biting cold but the rain that managed to find her skin even under the umbrella was ice cold as well. Upon reaching the store however she saw that it was closed due to the storm and she cursed yet again for the inconvinience of needing food but to also hopefully get out of this storm for a bit.

Thunder rumbled very loudly near by that made her scream in terror briefly as she went quickly into the fetile position shaking. Feeling embarrassed she stood back up looking around to see of anyone saw that only to see the streets now deserted and empty leaving a very eerie feeling and that of she should get away from here, now.

She started to walk towards the road that would lead her home when another sound of thunder went off and then a flash of light blind her, a feeling of weightlesness and then sharp pain in her back from smacking into something really hard.

Feeling dazed and it taking her a minute to push off the bried blindness and the the pain she slowly stands up holding her back, and looking around to figure out what had happened. She was next to the grocery store wall, so that would explain the back pain, she thought, and then a couple of yards away a huge back scorch mark on the pavement and road.

Was she almost struck by lightning, she thought to herself in horror as she immidietly looked up to the sky with fright. Her gaze held though to the sky instead of just a brief look of horror then bolting for home. Something held her gaze. Something that sent true terror throughout her body to her very Soul. Something worse that the Thunder and the Rain. Something worse than her almost being killed by lightning.

As she stared up into the sky, what she saw was impossible. She saw a young man with four angel like wings sprouting from his back two white two black. His clothes from what she could see from him facing away from her was torn and he was holding a massive weapon but what she couldn't tell. But that isn't what frightened her. It was what the boy was looking at.

In the middle of all the clouds that were swerling with very visable lightning in the black and grey clouds, was a Monster that seemed to almost be the center of the storm itself.
