Alexis' POV
I jog out of school as quickly as humanly possible, trying to check my phone at the same time.
I had been in detention since I had been caught sleeping in class. Mr Harris, our dick of a teacher, had told me off and had kept me in for detention.
I had about a dozen voicemails from Lydia, who sounded furious. Allison had given her my number, and I was not too happy about it. But, over the years, I have learnt how to just 'suck it up'.
I listened to a few of Lydia's voicemails. It was mostly her rambling on and on and on about 'Where I was' and 'Why I can not blow her off' and other shit like that.
I had a message from Scott and Emily. I had 6 messages from Stiles.
I quickly took a break while standing at my bike, replying to all of their texts.
Em (BFF)
Lexi, where are you?
See ya later, bestie 😘Hey, Em! Sorry, I had detention with Mr Harris. I'll meet you at your house so we can go shopping😉 So excited for the party!!!
It was kind of a lie. I was not really looking forward to the party, but I faked that I was.
I started to answer my messages from Scott.
Scott
Alexis, where are you? Text me when you read this.
Hi, Scott! Sorry, had detention! I'll see you at home after Emily and I go shopping. See ya later, big bro!😚
Whenever Scott was angry I called him 'big bro', because he always rubbed in my face how he was 10 seconds older than me.
I opened up Lydia's texts and groaned.
Lydia Martin
Alexis, where are you? 😐
ARE YOU GOING TO MISS LACROSSE PRACTISE?!?!
ALEXIS McCALL, YOU BETTER NOT MISS THE DAMN LACROSSE PRACTISE!!! 😠
WHERE ARE YOU?!?!
Hi Lydia!! Sorry I missed lacrosse practise, I had detention. Won't happen again ☺👍. See ya later.
I finally open Stiles' texts.
Stiles
Lexi, where are you?
Alexis, you're gonna miss lacrosse practise.
Shit, Lydia does not look happy.
Nevermind, just get to my house as soon as possible.
LEXI GET HERE NOW.
ALEXIS I'M SERIOUS. GET. HERE. NOW.
