Cantopica Dragon Legends: War of Seven

Chapter 1

One day, Nanako was out walking around the woods that was outside the village. She took spike with her on the walk. Nanako saw a weird looking dragon on her stroll. It was a new kind of dragon since Nanako has never seen that species before. This dragon was smaller than spike and the other mini dragons. It kind of looks like spike but doesn't have the look of a mini dragon. This dragon had the black belly just like Nanako's dragon but this creature was all black. She tried to catch this little dragon but it kept running from her then she got the idea to throw a burlap sack on the poor thing and she finally caught the creature. When she looked inside all she saw was the red wings. The dragon blended in with the darkness within the sack. It was kind of heavy for a small dragon that size. As the day progressed she was thinking on what kind of dragon was this creature. As it got dark, she decided that is was time to go home.

When she got home, Nanako removed her shoes and headed towards her room. She took the burlap sack with the dragon inside with her. Before she could get upstairs with the bag, her father called for her. And when he yelled she knew there was something wrong.

"Nanako," her father yelled.

"What," Nanako said.

"You are late and what is in the bag that you have in your hands if that's alright to ask?" Chief Golden Horse asked. He had the caution look on his face.

"Well, father you see I found something and I caught..." She replied while getting interrupted.

"What is in the bag I asked," her father repeated.

"A weird dragon I found when I was walking through the woods," Nanako answered.

"Let me look at it and then I will give it back to you," he said as Nanako took the little dragon out of the bag.

As her father looked at the dragon, Nanako was trying to think if she could draw it and give it to the dragon specialist. He handed the dragon back to Nanako. She took it upstairs in the bag. She built a nice cage for the little dragon while in her room. Then she put the dragon in the cage to wait for a good time to take it to the dragon specialist, Warthan Bear. He lives three roads away from Nanako. It wouldn't take long just to go see if he would know what dragon this is. She decided to take it to him tomorrow just to figure it out then. Nanako really wants to know what kind of dragon this is since she doesn't know or hasn't seen anything like this in the books of dragons.

After supper, Nanako took some sheep meat to the hungry little creature. The dragon ate it as fast as Nanako gave the meat to the little thing. Then she picked up the black dragon, with it outside of the cage, and carried it to her bed and sat down then placed it beside her. She studied the dragon like it was something weird to look at. She grabbed her camera and took a picture of this dragon. The dragon didn't flinch like the others Nanako took pictures of. After she printed the picture out, she put the picture on the wall with the other pictures that she took of dragons. Every dragon Nanako runs into she gets a picture of and keeps it on the wall with the others. She even has pictures of Spike on that wall. Nanako put the dragon back in the cage for the night. She decided to get changed and then call it a night.

The next day she got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. After breakfast she went upstairs to grab the cage and then she went out the door. As she walked out she was followed by Spike. Her mini dragon wasn't acting right for some reason. He acted like he was a chicken with his head cut off. That is absolutely not normal for spike. It was like he took a container of sugar and at every grain of it. Nanako didn't know what was going on with him. She didn't care about that right now. All she cared about was getting to Mr. Bear to see what this dragon was and to learn more about it. Then she would ask why spike was going crazy and acting like a monkey on steroids. Nanako just kept walking towards his place. The black dragon was becoming lighter every second that they walked to get where they were going. All of a sudden she notices one of her friends was coming. She didn't know who it was at first. After looking at the dragon she knew who it was. It looked like a newly hatched sea warrior. Then she realized it was Tsubasa. Tsubasa named the sea warrior Ocean Heart. Nanako figured out why Spike was going crazy. He heard Ocean Heart from a block away.
