Embrace the darkness for me

Don waited in silence as he Duni and Dres yelled at each other, both were angry at not only each other but themselves. The now fox demon didn't know what to do but sit and watch and hope both of them don't kill each other, though he knew even in their enraged state they can never bring themselves to hurt each other. He misses Dashlie, it's been a whole week since her death. Dres said he had to leave her body behind as he needed to get to them quickly, he gave her a burial in a meadow not far from here, a meadow that blooms white roses and flowers. Duni was more distracted by her death, they didn't care about the other two all they know is that Dory and Dommy are dead end of story.

"What do we do now" Don spoke up once Duni and Dres calmed down, both the vampire and dark pug didn't know what to do. "We....I don't know okay" Duni yelled as he held his paws to his ears, "We can't do anything with that archer here" Dres said with a snarl. "But he's a mortal how did he kill us" Don yelled, "I don't know okay" Dres yelled making Dom flinch and shirk back. "How can a simple mortal with mortal weapons strike us down" Duni said to himself as he shook his head as he tried to block out the voices in his head. Don lowered his head as Dres punched the wall next to him making him jump.

"I'm not gonna give up or retret like a coward, our family must be avenged" Dres snarled as Duni nodded silently, "Your right, we can't fool around at our weakest moments. We need a plan and a quick one". Dres growled, "How do we do that, we have no one who can get close to that archer without being detected as a demon". Duni was about to say something till he looked at Don who was watching them from a safe distance, "Actually we do" he said with a smirk making Don gulp.

Jon was with Dimitri helping the sword maker collect material and every once and awhile remind him to each and drink something. The frog was always so focused on his work he forgot that he can always ask Jon for something, Jon hoped that being with the frog will keep him away from the drama in the household but it didn't seem to be working. Cory always came in to ask for something or even looking at the new weapons Dimitri was making while the frog didn't seem to stop calling him and asking how he was able to kill a demon with normal steel tipped arrows. Jon knew Cory knows something but he always dismisses the question with an I don't know or stop asking the same question.

Uni seemed to calm down a bit and whatever beef he had with Cory seemed to have vanished since he's more chill around him then when he first arrived which was good but that doesn't stop him from lashing out from time to time. Ashlie and Nick recovered nicely and were more serious about training hard and wanting to defeat their doublegangers, Dawn was doing some research to find out if their demon have any weakness and what are their origins. If he remembers correctly Duni came out of nowhere while Ddawn somehow managed to impersonate him for a good few months, they can also make more of themselves.

As much as Jon wanted to forgot his time with them Dawn keeps asking him questions if he knows anything about them, yet strangely he can barely remember anything about the demons. He can remember the abuse and beatings they gave him but not what they did to him, Ddawn always tested potions on him but that's all he can remember about the dark android, nothing else sticks out. Why can't he remember anything, he knows there's more than that but he can't think of anything and that's very worrisome to him. Still Dawn being the supportive person he was let Jon have his space till he's ready to talk again.

Yet after all this madness they both went through they barely had time to actually express their love for each other, Dawn was always invested in his work and research and spends more time with Uni while Jon seems to still be recovering from his trauma. Jon wants to love Dawn but he can't help but be afraid of him, he looks to much like Ddawn to the point that he sometimes just wants to sleep alone. He can't even remember why Ddawn scares him so much, it feels like he's going mad for no reason. Why is this happening to him and how.
