Sweat dripped down my chin, my chest heaving up and down, the air seemed sticky in my lungs. I glanced quickly at the scoreboard on my left. Tenby 24-25 Nexus. Cheers and shouts bounce within the crowd like electric, the vortex of noise blended into one. We'll lose this match if I don't do something. From the corner of my eye I could see the clock ticking, the milliseconds falling and falling.
10 seconds and counting.
"Move your feet!" I shouted at my team. We positioned ourselves, all set piece plays are out of the window. We are on our own now.
4 seconds.
I wiped a chain of sweat.Nows my chance. I did a fake, and broke free from my mark. The ball comes to be, swirling and twirling in mid air. Cushioning it in my hand, I spun around and prepared my triple stance.
2 seconds.
I leaped with every single ounce of strength in my legs, willing and pushing myself to go higher. It's now or never.
I took the shot. Flawless.
1 second.
Time seemed to be slowed down. The ball spins slowly as the crowd watches it with astonishment. It hits the net with a swoosh. BEEP. The buzzer rings, and the crowd erupts into a frenzy of cries of joy and shouts of frustration. Tenby 26-25 Nexus.
I smirked.
Of course.

"Congrats on the win man," said Ryan as he walked up to me. He has this special aura that made everything he did look stupid, but he's a really nice guy, always sticking with his motto of 'helping the weak'. Can say I disagree. His slick black hair always stands out, no matter where we are, and though built and strong he does have a few extra tyres around him.
"Thanks." I replied hastily. I packed up my shoes and started walking away. "Woah woah there, why are you running away? In a hurry?" he asked. Actually yes, I want to go home so I can try out that new game I bought.
"CONGRATZZZZ!" I heard a yell from down the corridor. I think I know who it is. A heavy figure hopped onto me. Bingo. "Get off me Ben. I'm sweaty and all, and I don't wanna touch you too." Ben hopped off. He's always wearing those spectacles too big for him, his hair that looks like an inverted porcupine. He's always that jolly good fellow that never seems to care about anything. My type of friends.
"Call the rest of the guild, come online and meet at the town square at 8 o'clock sharp tonight. I don't want to miss that early game advantage. You know MMORPGs. Early bird gets then worm." I said orderly. "Ryan you call Chong to come, I'll call Sarah to come online, Ben you call Chern."
"Haha, yea man I've been waiting for this moment my entire life." said Ben with an excited voice I couldn't help but smile.
"Yea," I said, "see you in Sword Art Online."
