chapter 4 Backyard Secrets

 Hours pass by as it grew dark now as naoki and Reizo got dinner ready in the kitchen now as everyone knees down at the table now as they comes over with dinner now putting them down on the table as kai and chika have their bowls of food near them so they can all have dinner together as the family makes a pray for their food then they all start eating now enjoying the food.

Reizo specks up first. Reizo" So has everyone got all their stuff sorted out their rooms and stuff now then?" Jera and Saniiro nods as they told their parents the stuff they found out about their rooms as Reizo nods as him and naoki tells them what they found as well as they family continues to eat up then soon Jera and naoki takes all the dishes and cleans them up as Jera looks out the window to the backyard. Jera" Hey mom I think ill chill outside for a bit if that's cool" naoki looks at her daughter. Naoki "Of course you can just mind yourself who know what other secrets this home has to be uncovered " Jera nods as she finishes helping her mother as she goes up stairs to get her guitar and a pen and note pad and goes down to head outside the back as chika follows her as they start walking around.

Jera walks over to the pond seeing the koi fish swimming as she smiles and looks up seeing a full moon out now and sees some petals of the cherry blossom trees float in the air breeze gently some lands in the pond as they float along the surface. Jera walks over to the shed as it was a simple old wooden shed as she opens the sliding door and looks inside not seeing much as its dark and she steps in feeling for a light switch as once she finds it she sees a figure in a corner and screams a bit startled as she takes a step back. Chika hisses as she goes over to the figure but after a moment she starts meowing to Jera to come closer as she gathers up her courage and steps closer now as it was something covered up by a cloth, Jera starts to slowly take it off wonder what is under it as once its fully off she gasps a bit at what she sees.
Right their was a statue of a tall man dressed in traditional Japanese kimono as he looks to have long hair with a bit tied back as at his side there is a katana sword as he looks to be around mid 20s as he also wear a necklace as it was a square wooden tablet with Japanese writing craved into it as Jera takes closer look as he read spirt as Jera is confused by this but looks at the statue more confused why it's in the shed in the first place. Jera" Weird wonder who this guy was...well he does look handsome, oh well that seems all here then. "Jera and chika turns to leave the shed closing the door behind her but some moonlight shines in through some cracks from the roof as they hit the statue necklace as the statue eyes start glowing a bit now.

Jera walks around the backyard more not seeing much but spots a gate out to the back that leads out to the forest, but decides to explore that tomorrow when its light outside as she walks back to the koi pond and sits on the bench as she puts her guitar on her lap tuning it as chika looks at the fish and puts her paw in a bit as a fish near her stick its head above the water and squirts out water right at chika face then dives back in as chika hisses and yells out then runs off back inside as Jera giggles at this as she finishes tuning her guitar as she plays some tunes on it taking a deep breath.

"....la da da da ah ah...here we are now, a new beginning in a new place so different form where used to....la lala da da...who says things stay forever, no they don't dear....as time passes everything changes...nothing you can do...nothing at all...da da da aaahhh..." drops the sounds as he goes form nice and smooth sound to down and sad tones. "...why, oh why did we have to leave our lives behind,...we were happy, weren't we happy?...oh la la da da ahh....guess I have to accept it all...and try to see a bright side to all of this now....."looks up at the moon now." Ohh...dear grandma , if you can hear me form way up there...ooohhh la la la...watch over us now with this new chapter in our lives, we miss you, we miss you sssooooo...la da da da..." soon Jera slowly stops as she wipes the tear form her eyes as she writes down the lyrics she just sang now. trees ans^
