New Beginnings, New Adventures

Chapter 2 New Home

After hours of driving through some rainy and windy weather as well as making few stops to get some food get petrol and to stretch out their legs too. The family soon starts to drive past fields of rice paddies with some people working in them and patches of trees along the road too as they come upon the entrance a small country village. Driving into it the rest of the family looks out their windows checking out their new surrounds ,they see some old style Japanese houses and some small shops as well as a park ,school and near the outside of the village was a hill with stone stairs leading up to the top where its surrounded by cherry blossom trees in full bloom but the outline of a shrine building could be see as well as the red arches at the bottom of the stairs. The family drives by passes more buildings seeing some people out either walking cycling or just doing their work.

soon the trucking and car stops as the family gets out as they come to look at a small stone bright with a little river running under it following after that is a tunnel made from the trees along it with a stone footpath as the family walks more as right after that they come to an old Japanese house.it didn't look in the best of shape there were some weeds growing at the front door as some tiles form the roof were missing and some of the screen doors were ripped and some windows looked dusty with some cracks in them as it had a bit of a garden at the front with a big cherry blossom tree in bloom that looks the only nice thing so far now.

Reizo smiles big seeing this as he turns to his family. Reizo" Well here is our new home, family what you think" Saniiro was the first to comment on the house. Saniiro" What a dump "right after he said that his mother flicks him in the side of his head hard. Naoki "Now you don't you say that sure it does look bad, but this will just take a bit of work to make it much more beautiful then the cherry blossom tree here" Jera turn to her mother. Jera" Mother the tree is the only good thing we seen so far of the house and this is just the front of it, we haven't even checked inside or the back yet." Reizo goes over to the front door and uses the key he was given to open it he tries not to show that the door was a bit stuck as he tried to open it but, soon got it open and steps inside then takes off his shoes. Reizo "Ok then we have space for our shoes come call the movers and lets set everything inside now." Naoki nods and goes to get the mothers as her children follows her behind as they start to help the movers bring in their stuff as the pets sits by the front door out of the way watching as Reizo was inside to make some room opening of the screen doors as it was dusty inside but very big and open on the first floor as they get to work moving their stuff inside.

Some time passes by as all the boxes and furniture is now inside as they thanks the movers as they leaves in the truck as Reizo turns to his family. Reizo "Ok then that's one things sorted now kids the most important bit is claiming your new rooms their upstairs this place as a few ok so you have a few to choice so go off now while me and your mother sorts out the boxes," Jera and Saniiro nods as they heads up the stairs with their pets.
As once they got to the top they see a big landing with a window looking out to the front of the house as there was a hall way at both ends with doors as Jera and Saniiro agrees to each take a hall to find their room as Jera flips a coin as Saniiro calls heads as its tails as Saniiro groans a bit. Jera "Ok then I'll take the right you go left then Saniiro "He sighs but nods as he heads to the left with kai following behind as Jera and chika goes right.

It was a long hall way with a right turn at the very end as Jera checks each room wanting to check them all out curious as the front on the right was a big family bathroom that looked old fashioned. Walking down more on the left was a big screen door as she slides it open as it was a big storage room with a window at the far wall with the others covered in shelfs as she comes more and finds a room with a bathroom with it and a big screen glass door that opens out to a small balcony of the garden that was very bare apart form a small pond with a stone bench beside it as their were more trees and a forest behind with a small shed near the back.

Jera decides to keep looking as she turns the corner and finds three more doors then a window at the very end as she checks them, as the first on the right was a small closet then the one next to it was another bathroom but smaller then the other one as she moves down further as the last door on the left as she opens it opens up to a small hall as she walks a bit seeing some shelves on one of the walls as then opens a sidling door and finds a large open room that had a bathroom with it and a wardrobe as there was also an entrance to the attic as she walks over to it pulling on the string with a ball at the end as opening it comes a stair ladder as it folds out as Jera slowly goes up checking each steps not sure how old it is as she pokes her head up as it's the attic as it looks very big but dark so Jera can see much as she shrugs and goes back down and puts it up again as she decides this to be here room as she looks down at Chika. Jera" Looks like this will be my new room now Chika." (
