You sat on the beech,
The sand under your feet,
You were genuinely happy,
And I had never been more complete.

The sun upon the water,
The wind through your hair,
I couldn't help but stare,
You were without a care,
And your beauty was almost unfair.

You lost the burden you seemed to carry,
And I realized you were who I was meant to marry.

I kissed you on a self issued dare,
You didn't seem to care,
You kissed back and I knew,
We made the perfect two.

We were the two,
You were my one,
But I had not known,
You wanted me too.

With you I belong,
Come with me and run,
Our hearts can't be wrong,
We are one.
