By 10:30, I was sat in Cameron's car driving to the store to pick up stuff for the party later on. I noticed Cameron texting someone whilist smiling. I laughed causing Grayson to turn around to me from the front seat. "Why are you laughing?" he asked his hand crossing the seat. "Nothing." I said.
.. We had arrived to the store. I grabbed a cart and strolled it through the market wildly. "Ethan!" Grayson yelled as he pulled my black hoodie causing me to be pushed back. "Woah." I said as I placed my hand on my chest. "Don't do that bro." he walked into the snack aisle and scanned throughout the section. Cameron ran through the store searching for us with alchool held in his hands. He placed them down and ran away yelling, "I'm gonna go get more, be right back!" Grayson laughed as I walked grabbing a bunch of snacks throwing them into the cart. I stayed put on the cart putting my feet on the whatever the fuck you call it and rolled through almost crashing into Cameron hands full of bottles. He placed the bottles down and ran off without saying a word.
.. We finished up shopping and I ran holding a bag full of bottles straight to the car. I could hear their yells behind me. "Ethan!" "Assclown!" was all I heard.
...
We arrived at Cameron's place setting up the whole thing only it being 3 pm. I had brought extra clothes to change into knowing I would probably get dirty. As Grayson and Cameron set everything up, I took a quick shower.
Veronica's P.O.V
Nessa and I began to get ourselves ready. "What type of party is it? Who will be there? Roni, we're not gonna know anyone there!" Vanessa began to panic. "Calm down." I held her shoulder and she took a deep breath in. "Okay, okay. I have you that's all I need." I gave Nessa a soft hug, letting go quickly after. "I'm gonna try to find something to wear." Nessa began to walk away but before she did, "Wait, Nessa. Are you gonna wear a dress?" I asked. "Only if you are." "Okay, I will." I made my touches to my face as she watched. She walked out as I walked to my closet to figure out what I could wear. I saw a white fitted dress. I looked at it closely admiring it seeing there was a red stain where my stomach should be. I placed it back, checking out another one but this being a set. It was a black top coming with a black fitted skirt. I debated on it for 5 minutes thinking way to much on it. I finally decided on wearing it. The top was short showing a bit of my stomach. I paired them with some black high heels. I curled my hair and didn't go too crazy on my makeup which I wanted my outfit to be the center to of my attention.
... As it turned 5, Nessa came into my room eyes wide open admiring my appearance. "Woah, Roni. You look amazing!" she looked up and down at me. "I could say the same to you." Nessa really did look gorgeous. She was wearing a red fitted dress showing her little curves. She wore black heels as well, but a different heel to it. "Everyone's gonna have their eyes on you, Roni. You look great." I blushed, complimenting her as well. "Well look at you, you look great in that dress." Nessa blushed looking herself from bottom to top.
My dad and mom weren't home which wasn't a surprise. My dad was going to arrive home at 6:30. "What time should we leave, Roni?" she had a purse held in her hand placing her phone inside. I glanced at the time, seeing it was already 5:25 pm. "Now but hold on I have to grab a bag as well." I tried sprinting into my closet with the heels but I couldn't. I looked all around my closet, trying to find the perfect bag. I looked and found a perfect carry on. I checked the time before sliding my phone in there. 5:30.
.. "Ready?" I said looking into the mirror with Nessa standing next to me. "Ready." We walked out of the house making sure to lock the door before we left. The sound of our heels were echoing through the neighborhood. We got in the car and I took out my phone to give directions. Nessa drove this time.
We got lost trying to find our way but we finally arrived at about 6:29, making it an hour drive. "Ooof. That was a long drive." Nessa said as she placed her heels back on. There was no parking, we parked 3 blocks away. The music was blasting loud, leading my heart to beat even faster. I was nervous. I knew noone in there only Cameron and Nessa being the only two people I knew.
. The house looked packed. The house was huge. It had to be a mansion. I took a deep breath in already regretting my decision to come. There were many people out on the yard leading me to recognize one of our friends. "Vanessa?" I heard a voice say as I walked ahead of Nessa. "Stephie!" I assumed the hugged leading there to be a silence of talking. I turned around seeing Stephanie wearing a floral patterned dress. Nessa had always been closer to her so, I left them to talk. I walked up the steps feeling nervous. I didn't want to enter in. The door was closed surprisingly. I felt a bit over dressed. I looked around seeing girls with shorts, less dressed dresses, and even pants. I was about to walk back to Nessa but someone had opened the door. I turned giving them my attention. It was Cameron.
.. "Oh, hey Roni!" he shouted hugging me, his breath smelled of beer.
"Hey, Cameron." I smiled.
"Please. Let me, lead you inside." he grabbed my hand leading me up to the door.
I barely heard over the loud blasting music.
It felt weird. You know, him grabbing my hand. I stood at the doorway, standing next to him taking a quick look around. There were two stairways on both sides. There were two groups of people drinking on each side of the stair way.
.. I felt Cameron's hand grasp my waist. "Hey, Cam. Who's this?" a random guy handed Cameron a beer. He still held my waist. The guy checked me out then looked back at Cameron.
"My date, Nick." he took a huge gulp of his beer and looked at me.
This was going to be an interesting night...
