“What’s going on?” I asked, swinging my leg over the seat while holding onto David when finding both of my feet on the ground. I recognized the train tracks as the tracks me and aunt carol had passed by on our way to our house. It was already pitch dark outside and I barely could see where I was going.

“Perfect timing” David said.

Perfect timing for what? To murder me?

I shook my head deciding that after being around David and the others for a few hours, stuff like what David said is normal for something like them to say so casually.

“Elaine, wants to know what’s going on” David asked humorlessly.

“Marko, what’s going on?”

“I don’t know. What’s going on, Paul?” Marko asked laughing.

“Wait, a minute. Who wants to know?” Paul jokingly asks.

“Elaine wants to know.”

“I think we should let Elaine know what’s going on” David decided.

He had also joined in with the laughter as if they were enjoying a joke I didn’t know about.

“What?” I asked impatiently wanting to know all a suddenly what was happening.

We stopped in front of the ledge where if you jumped over, you would end up on the ground probably dead or severely injured.

“Marko” David said nodding his head towards him.

Marko stood close to the ledge and said, “Good Night, Elaine.”

Before dropping out of sight. The only thing we heard was a voice echoing “Bombs away”.

“Bottoms up” Paul said, walking up to the ledge, snapping his fingers and he to dropping out of sight. Dwayne followed behind him disappearing with a nod.

I widened my eyes in surprise.

“What the hell are they doing? Are they trying to kill themselves?” I exclaimed feeling extremely worried and a tad scared.

David cackled a laugh.
It was just me and David still up there and the idea of being alone there with him in the middle of the night on a train track petrified me.

“Come with us, Elaine.” He said walking forward before stepping off.

I yelped when he went over and instantly peeked over the ledge to see if they had made it over the ledge safely.

I sighed in relief.

“You asses” I said. “You scared the hell out of me.”

“You sure?” Questioned Paul looking up. He and the others hung underneath the bridge clinging onto the bars underneath the structure.

I smirked.

“No. There’s still hell in me. Probably in all of you to but hey what the hell” I swung my leg over the edge, pulling myself down, to hang on a bar across from David.

“So, what exactly are we waiting for?” I asked underestimating my grip that was starting to loosen. I had thought I could hang on for the time I had guessed we’d be here for, but I was wrong.

“That” replied David.

“Huh? What – “I was caught short by a loud pitch coming from ahead.

My eyes widened.

“No” I said.

“Yeah” He nodded. “Hang tight.”

The tracks above and the bars we held onto began to vibrate from the ongoing train and I grasped onto the bar for my life. My heart began to beat faster than ever feeling my adrenaline kick in. The bars shook more violently, shaking us all.

They all began to whoop and cheer from the adrenaline rush I had suspected that they were having in the moment.

“Hold on” David yelled over the loud screeching.

Yep, I’m going to die.

“What are they doing?” I screamed in horror when the boys began letting go, disappearing in the fog below.

The train started to come to an end but me and David still clung on until Dwayne let go.

David must have seen the terror in my eyes because, he screamed “Your one of us Elaine. Let go!”

Giving me one last look, he instantly let go and he to disappeared.

“David!!!!!” I screamed. I was hanging up there all alone with the train still vibrating with life. My arms started to shake more vigorously before my hand slipped from the bar leaving me hanging with one arm. I couldn’t stand to pull my weight up anymore with one hand before it slipped. Before I knew it, I was plummeting through the air falling at a fast speed before I lost consciousness when slipping within the fog.
